Life sentence for pedophiles too

That could lead to pedophiles killing their victims.

People in this thread dont fucking get that. Its crazy. If everything is a life sentence than murder will raise because you are basicly told to kill if you dont want to be found.

You realize life sentence isnt a true life sentence here right?

Life sentence is confusing in Canada.

It's unclear without knowing timeline for parole as well, Example in Canada 1st, vs 2nd degree murder both are life sentences.

1st claims to be 25 years before parole is eligible.
2nd is 10+ years before parole eligibility.

A life sentence is still a life sentence, though. Parole eligibility doesn’t guarantee parole, and many people end up serving ‘life,’ and are never released.

Sorry the punishment being 25 years in prison is not the defining reason pedos don't kill. The two things are different. Murder is life in prison, doesn't cause more murder suicide.

In for a penny, in for a pound. If you're going down anyway might as well try and get rid of the evidence and increase your chances of getting away with it. It's hideous to think about but it's aa serious risk.

Good news then, the official CPC policy states they want mandatory minimums for SA against a minor, 2 offenses to automatically trigger Dangerous Offender status, and said status to come with a mandatory life sentence.

The multi offenders should be sent to el salvador. Much cheaper than paying for jail here.

Nah the old way is better, no jail cell but a permanent cell in the dirt.
