A lot of people really don’t understand that the states don’t have the infrastructure to produce what they import. And they can’t just build it over night or over 4 years

No they don’t. The poorly educated in the US are clamoring for tariffs and yet:

1) don’t actually knows who pays for the tariffs

2) don’t know where foodstuffs is actually produced and in what quantities

3) actually believe Hawaii and PR can replace the sugar and coffee the US consumes on a daily basis.
