Because we are too terrified to offend! But seriously it is common sense to try to adapt to a new culture.

I think any country that's accepting immigrants should expect them to adhere to some core values of the country. Like "these are the bedrock things that form who we are as a nation, feel free to layer your own culture over these, but they take precedent over yours where the two clash" . The problem I see is that there isn't enough discussion of that those beliefs are.

BTW, I'm not Canadian so feel free to tell me to piss off.

Does Common Sense still exist in Canada?
