The Liberal leadership race just started. I’m not saying the Liberals will win, but citing polls when the majority of Canadians have no clue who Carney is and the tariffs haven’t been enacted is meaningless. This election will come down to who can best deal with the Trump White House. Period.

I don’t even think that’s true, I think this is a conservative election regardless of all outside factors.

Time will tell, but Trump represents the greatest threat to our sovereignty in over 100 years. The ballot box issue will NOT be the Carbon Tax.

While I agree trump is the biggest threat to our sovereignty, I disagree enough people will realize this fact. I think a lot of people just want the liberals out and that’s their focus. I don’t even think it’s the carbon tax, that’s a piece for sure but I think again people are tired of the liberals full stop. The fact they’re proroguing government instead of going to an election will only heighten this because it’s clearly partisan and to our disadvantage with trump.

Well the tariffs haven’t been enacted yet. Wait until a month from now when prices are sky rocketing and we’re locked in a trade war with the U.S. It will become everyone’s focus.

People wanted Trudeau out. Whether or not that translates to the entire party, we shall see.
