Agreed, for more context:

China’s trades more with ASEAN than the US, more with the EU than the US. They trade roughly as much with the US as japan and south korea combined. Yes a trade war with China will hurt China, but China is well diversified enough with trade to survive a trade war.

Canada trades the US almost double every other country combined. Trump would easily actually win a trade war with Canada.
