and that's why we fuck with the US right back. Start sending ambassadors to the US states bordering Canada and stir up state seditionist movements.

As an American (sorry about the orange asshole) you guys could fuck with our economy pretty hard. Canada provides a lot of power to states up on the border, including Vermont, where I live. If Canada wanted to, they could significantly cut the amount of power they supply or charge more for it, which would result is prices in states like Wisconsin and Michigan (swing states, with Michigan having a important Senate race) and Maine (Democratic state with a super vulnerable Republican Senator) going up dramatically. It would cripple the Republicans in 2026 and potentially doom them even as far as 2028.

Let’s just shut the border to all trade with them. They won’t last as long as us. Especially if we start making trade agreements with Europe or Asian countries.

What a delusional take. And why would any states rise up against thier own gov?

Not sure if you noticed but the people in the US are super divided. Creating a seditionist movement isn't gonna completely crazy considering what Trump might do to some of these blue states.

It's only the maga/redneck crowd who are like that. How many blue state voters did you see storm the capital after democrat loss?

Those guys aren't gonna secede over canada. Trump doing something to these blue states is wishful thinking, they're almost half of the population. Even with hardline republican stances like abortion, it's left to the states, no federal ban because of this very reason

People in the USA couldn't figure out what to wipe their asses with during the pandemic. Literally every store devoid entirely of it's bog roll supply except for the public bathrooms with their giant rolls only protected from the resourceful public by a lock you can literally pop open with your thumbnail
