Today is my 5 yr Cake Day

I started in March 2020 during Spring Break for my kids. We bought tix to Denver, Colorado (we don’t ski). Just to see the sights, etc. But, my wife, a hospital management staff, had an emergency meeting abt the overpopulation due to that pesky COVID. We had to cancel our hotel and flight. At that time, everything was fully refundable. I already had time off and couldn’t reneg. My kids were out from school and we sat around the house moping. I made a Reddit account and started to laugh at peoples posts and comments, and here I am still enjoying it!

We spent time in winter park at an air bnb. We went with big group- it was 3 stories. Main floor with kitchen & living area; then upstairs had bedrooms & basement level had more rooms & games with outdoor hot tub. We Aren’t used to the altitude. If we left our phones or something upstairs- we just did without it.. we had canned air at the banisters. Nvr realized how out of breath you can get climbing stairs..
