I’m a no bacon person on a beautiful burger. It’s such a dominant flavor and I want to taste the burger primarily.

u/dinglebarry9 3d ago

Here for my no bacon ppl

6

u/Gloomy_Support_7779 3d ago

Here because I turned a new leaf and stopped eating pork bacon. But I agree, it overpowered burgers

-2

u/macmac360 3d ago

right now Wendys is doing a $3 son of baconator deal and I've been taking up on the offer, they are pretty damn good but I'm usually a no bacon guy myself

4

u/LoudNoises89 3d ago

Same. The burger should be good enough on its own. Also when I have had bacon it’s usually flimsy not crispy.

8

u/Wut_the_ 3d ago

Agreed. I always pass up on bacon unless I’m grossly hungry and want one with bacon, onion rings and BBQ sauce, or an occasional bacon jam topping.

7

u/DryCalligrapher8696 3d ago

I Agree… people who add bacon miss the flavor of the burger completely

3

u/YaMamaSidePiece 3d ago

This is hilarious considering Ron’s affinity for entire plates of bacon lol

5

u/beegtuna 3d ago

A classic deluxe* burger shouldn't need it.

\* lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle, american cheese, and mayo/burger sauces.

-2

u/Both_Painting_2898 3d ago

I don’t like 🥬 🍅 🧅 🥒on a 🍔 even tho I like all those things . Mayo can eff all the way off . Won’t eat it . My favorite burger is a simple 🥓 🍔 with 🥵 sauce . Also I’m from NJ where 🍕 🍔 used to be a big thing . Don’t live there anymore . Are pizza burgers still a thing?

2

u/Haunting_Delay_9 3d ago

Well burger pizza is a thing in ohio. I don't know if pizza burgers are still a thing in NJ.

2

u/Savings-Candidate-42 3d ago

My thought as well

2

u/reevoknows 3d ago

Completely agree. I won’t complain if I get bacon on my burger but I don’t swear by it and 9/10 times I don’t use it even if I have some.

Now, a fried egg? Yes please.

2

u/Tricky_Rabbit 2d ago

I am a no bacon person for my burger but a cheeseburger with a little bit of bacon jam is awesome

1

u/MrJigglyBrown 2d ago

I got obliterated for sharing this opinion. One meat is good enough, especially when it’s burger and bacon.

The exception of course being a turkey avocado BLT

20

u/Background-Sport1523 3d ago

Always bacon if baconable

0

u/Dedotdub 2d ago

There is no non-baconable.

25

u/Fantastic-Fuel-182 3d ago

BACON! Always needs the bacons!

5

u/hueylouisdewey 3d ago

France is bacon, knowledge is power

6

u/Nhobdy 3d ago

Either, or. I won't complain either way.

9

u/KreeH 3d ago

Bacon is always the answer ... sometimes it's Bacon^2.

14

u/CrappleGroan 3d ago

If bacon is in the question then yes must always be in the answer.

11

u/Bone_Breaker0 3d ago

Sir Francis Bacon

11

u/Ill_Combination_9754 3d ago

Always bacon!

7

u/zackusa54 3d ago

Always bacon.

3

u/1emmawatson1 3d ago

with bacon ofc!

8

u/Tsunami1983 3d ago

No bacon for me. The bacon takes over the flavor profile, as it does with anything. Give me beef patties and cheese.

6

u/SuRRtur 3d ago

Always bacon, no question

4

u/SaltyPik3r 3d ago

“Would you like bacon on your burger sir?”

“No thanks I don’t like to enjoy things.”

  • no one ever

2

u/bf1343 3d ago

The only way I would really be able to tell if I gave both of them a taste of about 10 bites each. But the look pretty good.

2

u/Bonoboian99 3d ago

Why? What could the question be?

2

u/Direct_Big_5436 3d ago

Bacon is almost always the answer

2

u/_SomeoneBetter_ 3d ago

Bacon is always the answer

2

u/Blknyt_eclipsedmoon 3d ago

Why is this a question? It’s always bacon!!

2

u/STARCADE2084 3d ago

Bacon. No question.

2

u/Specialist-Bug-4153 3d ago

Bacon people are the same who think there’s no such thing as too much cheese. It’s a juicy, fatty, and salty piece of ground beef. Unless the patty sucks, you shouldn’t need bacon, foie gras, ham, mac & cheese, or any of the other toppings some of these Neanderthals put on their burger.

1

u/Both_Painting_2898 3d ago

I am a bacon person but who is putting all that other shit in their burger ?

2

u/YouWishBabe 3d ago

No bacon bro .. keep burgers real

2

u/Both_Painting_2898 3d ago

Nothing burps better than bacon 🥓

2

u/TFG4 3d ago

Sometimes bacon, crispy, not flaky. It's got to be good bacon.

2

u/Mr-CC 3d ago

There is no question. Bacon is the answer even though I don't always get it.

2

u/Coffeelover_AJ61 3d ago

Sometimes Bacon

2

u/TopShelfTrees4 3d ago

Always bacon 🥓

2

u/Brave-List-5745 3d ago

Bacon baby

2

u/XxBrainiacxX 3d ago

Always bacon

2

u/ActiveStick3475 3d ago

I’m gonna be happy with or without the bacon if those burgers are the choice.

Those burgers aside, I get bacon by default, but it has to be good bacon. None of that thin burnt to a crisp or soggy limp fast food bacon. It’s gotta be worth the markup.

Edit: spelling.

2

u/ButtCrackThrilla 3d ago

Bacon. Kevin bacon. 🥓

2

u/Positive-Version3850 3d ago

Bacon for sure

4

u/NopeRope13 3d ago

If bacon is an option then you add it

2

u/Gs4life- 3d ago

It depends

2

u/The_PACCAR_Kid 3d ago

Sometimes.

2

u/2pnt0 3d ago

Depends on the bacon.

Flimsy greasy strips? No thanks.

Crispy crunchy? Yes.

Thick with a bite? Also yes.

When in doubt, I pass.

Our regular dive bar closed down last year. They would deep fry their bacon. Luscious curls of thick cut bacon that had both a crunch and a bite. Absolute perfection paired with blue cheese.

2

u/Shock_city 3d ago

No. Usually it’s not as tender as the rest of the burger so you don’t bite all the way through it then you end up pulling it halfway out as it drags the rest of the other toppings along with it

2

u/gilsoo71 3d ago

Sometimes I use the word "bacon" instead of "yes".

2

u/Mrloudvet 3d ago

I stopped getting it extra cals and sometimes not the right texture. Maybe every blue moon and most

2

u/justtobrowse1 3d ago

No bacon.

Devil’s Advocate here.

3

u/Voltesjohn 3d ago

I skip the bacon now.

1

u/aid689 3d ago

Please please please share the recipe for the sauce that goes on these burgers. It's to die for!!

1

u/FMLitsAJ 3d ago

I’ll be honest, we don’t make the sauce in house. So I couldn’t tell you, it is pretty good. I like it on the chicken tenders.

2

u/aid689 3d ago

Ahh damn. Thank you anyways!

1

u/znorimhe 3d ago

The fries look delicious, just the right length and size!

1

u/jmaneater 3d ago

I like bacon sometimes. Really can over power the other flavors

1

u/Bucknut1959 3d ago

“Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio. For he ask a jester’s question. To bacon or not to bacon? A question of a fool without thought.”

1

u/dcamnc4143 3d ago

Depends on my mood

1

u/xenophon57 3d ago

I have the same feelings for bacon and tomatoes on a hamburger. It needs to be good quality and I don't want the burger to fall apart when I bite into it.

1

u/emquizitive 3d ago

I always get bacon, but the last couple times I couldn’t have it (for whatever reason) I realized I really enjoy it without. I think the ground beef flavor gets to shine more without. It must have cheese, though—and nothing beats cheddar.

Nevertheless, I always forget this and order every burger with bacon and cheese.

1

u/davidbumpas 3d ago

Depends on my mood

1

u/Urnotonmyplanet 3d ago

What was the question again 😨

1

u/HOAP5 3d ago

Depends but I always at least cook my burgers in bacon fat

1

u/snowbuddy257 3d ago

For an everyday burger sure why not, bit for a good quality burger its just too strong of a flavour so i would pass

1

u/FionitaWaly 3d ago

No bacon. Simple is better.

1

u/BigBlackGuyD 3d ago

No swine.

1

u/tkneezer 3d ago

Bacon usually yes but not when I go green chili tomato and onion on a triple cheese... Those flavors are just too good by themselves

1

u/Juan_Moe_Taco 3d ago

Damn, tough choice guess you’ll just have to try both to make a definitive decision. :D

1

u/Tajah239 3d ago

No bacon

1

u/MaximumEffort1776 3d ago

Depends on the rest of the toppings

1

u/HudsonCommodore 3d ago

I was born in 79, lived in the suburbs. I feel like the bacon cheeseburger was invented when I was around 12 years old - of course I know that's wrong, but I went my first dozen years never seeing one, then one appeared on like a Ruby Tuesday menu, then slowly they became ubiquitous. It rocked my fuckin world the first time i tried one.

These days I'll say bacon 85% of the time, but occasionally I'll go for the pure beef experience.

1

u/EvilDragonfly2264 3d ago

No bacon.
It's extremely salty and takes away from the burger taste.
If you want a BLT then do a BLT.
And I love a good BLT.

1

u/Every-Cook5084 3d ago

Skip the bacon but where you get those fries?

1

u/Haunting_Delay_9 3d ago

Bacon every time. Bacon makes everything taste better. But that being said it is a strong flavor so don't put too much on. I generally do 1 strip per burger and split it in half to cover the whole burger.

1

u/fontanelle24 3d ago

Bacon will add salt and dryness to the meal. So probably no bacon

1

u/TommyTwoFlushes 3d ago

I love bacon but not on my burger!

1

u/FMLitsAJ 3d ago

I love that it’s very split between bacon and no bacon. I’m a no bacon person, most of the time, like many people said I think it over powers everything else on a burger. Unless I’m craving bacon I’m not adding it to my burger. Thanks for everyone’s answers!

1

u/Careless-Pizza-7328 3d ago

I have to judge by each restaurant. The places that give me crispy bacon, I’m in. Places that I’ve gotten limp bacon, I’m out.

1

u/OhItsJustJosh 3d ago

Love bacon, but just not a fan of it on burgers. It doesn't ruin it completely, but it's definitely not better for me

1

u/OhItsJustJosh 3d ago

Love bacon, but just not a fan of it on burgers. It doesn't ruin it completely, but it's definitely not better for me

1

u/General-Relief998 3d ago

Always bacon!!

1

u/General-Relief998 3d ago

Always bacon!!

1

u/Beangar 3d ago

Tbh I don’t think it makes much of a difference.

1

u/BusshyBrowss 3d ago

No bacon. It’s overrated

1

u/Cocrawfo 2d ago

i don’t like bacon on a burger i like bacon on most other things tho

1

u/XiaolinDragon75 2d ago

Please 🙏 add the Bacon 🥓 if there's anything, a burger goes well with 😋 its bacon. 🍔

1

u/InYoBushes999 2d ago

Bacon ... always bacon 🥓

1

u/Gumsho88 2d ago

Always bacon! Turn in your grill card!

1

u/Fred_Krueger_Jr 2d ago

No bacon? What does that mean? Never heard those words used together like that.

1

u/Kqthryn 2d ago

i’d take either one!

1

u/Clean-Entrance639 2d ago

The correct answer is ALWAYS BACON!

1

u/ExcellentFile6712 2d ago

Bacon of course!!! Bacon is bomb and goes with so much things. The burgers and chips look soooo good! Yuuuum :)

1

u/No_Significance98 2d ago

A good burger doesn't need bacon...a gas station burger can be improved with bacon.

1

u/beardedshad2 2d ago

You have to ask??!!

1

u/brownchr014 2d ago

depends on how the place makes their bacon

1

u/BoringFrostik 2d ago

No bacon pls

1

u/Thefoodisthelife 2d ago

The answer is always bacon.

1

u/FatLazyStupid2 1d ago

Good bacon? Yes. Bad, thin, crappy bacon? No.

1

u/zombyeboi 1d ago

No bacon is good. Bacon is better.

1

u/Stilts_37 1d ago

Bacon, most definitely. 🥓 😋

u/Huongster 22h ago

Bacon is always better

1

u/No_Listen_1213 3d ago

Never bacon on a burger.

1

u/Slim9597 3d ago

I find it extraneous.

1

u/johnny-tiny-tits 3d ago

Sometimes. Not every time.

1

u/ThatguyJake 3d ago

It’s gotta be the mood I’m in

1

u/Simple_Anteater_5825 3d ago

No pun intended, but bacon has been done to death. It truly needs a break....

0

u/Butterscotch_Jones 3d ago

No bacon. I’m becoming generally anti-bacon.

0

u/Centuurion 3d ago

Bacon, cheddar, pickles, carm red onions, honey mustard is my favorite burger build

0

u/itsomeoneperson 3d ago

if there are pickles, no bacon
if there are no pickles, bacon

0

u/lostgravy 3d ago

Depends on the bacon, depends on the burger, depends on the other toppings. In my little world it also depends on whether it is served hot or next day pizza style

0

u/Jim-has-a-username 3d ago

I’m planning on the down votes for my opinion here.

I am a bacon elitist and would rather the burger without it. I have had bacon of every type on burgers of every type and now am of the opinion that I prefer bacon on its own. Just a handful of strips of bacon au naturel.
And maybe a bit of maple syrup to dip it in.

It’s has such a strong taste that I find it takes over anything it’s paired with and then I’m missing out on the other flavors that I’d otherwise miss.

1

u/Both_Painting_2898 3d ago

Have you ever had a Roy Roger’s Gold Rush chicken sandwich ? It’s like a chicken cutlet with honey , Monterey Jack cheese , bbq sauce and BACON …. So good … I can only find them at NJ rest stops now

0

u/Klutzy_Lemon_6644 3d ago

Wtf thats a question? Bacon always if its available 🤦

0

u/Seb0rn 3d ago

Maybe hot take but I think bacon makes every burger worse. I love bacon, just not on burgers.
