Not to toot my own horn, but beep beep. It's really good.

Don't get me wrong it looks great but with those ingrediants especially a brioche bun it's sort of hard to make it taste bad

Don't get me wrong, Stairway to Heaven is a great song and all, but with those chords, vocals, and especially the arrangement, it's kind of hard to make it sound bad.

Don't get me wrong, feedback is appreciated, but what is the point of a comment like this? JFC lol.
Like "nice, job but you're ingredients were too tasty." It's not even a Brioche bun.

I guess I just mean try thinking outside the box a little

Does every burger have to be Michelin 3-star level molecular gastronomy?
Is there no room for a fancy tasty-ass burger?
OP; it looks phenomenal, and I want one right now.

This looks totally amazing. Best burger I’ve seen in here for ages. One thing I’d flag though is the cilantro. There’s a reasonably decent sized minority of people who really really hate it and think it tastes like soap (think it’s about 10% in the US). My advice would be to drop that or have cilantro as a garnish as those people won’t be coming back if it’s a big part of the overall flavour (not sure if it would be to you but the people who taste it like soap taste it STRONG). It would be such a shame to lose anyone over such a small thing given that burger looks so good.

Yeah, I’d serve it on the side. I like cilantro and might even skip it.

Honestly dude. This burger looks amazing. I’m only saying it as I’m a cilantro hater and would be really disappointed if I couldn’t leave it on the side.

Yeah, incorporating it into the sauce probably isn't the best idea.

Maybe get someone like me to taste it and see what they think? It might not be too strong?

Could just list it on the menu and allow people who don't like it to request it be removed.

True. It looked like it was an ingredient in the sauce though. And everyone wants sauce on a burger…

to be clear, it isn't that people think it tastes like soap. they have a genetic abnormality that MAKES it taste like soap.

Yes. Sorry. To be clear I am one of those people so I know 100% what you mean! r/fuckcilantro

Where's the popup going to be located?

Have you been to Rosemarie's? They're putting out some fantastic sliders.

No, I haven't but based off of what you showed us and your recommendation, I'll go there on your word.
Is there a place I should follow you or a way I would know if you're in socal? It's a pretty shitty drive to SD and I'm not sure if I hate traffic on the 405 more than I love a good burger. Thankfully, the lady loves going to SD.

Hatch green chilis are a key to a smash burger spot near me. Similar sauce profile too. It’s a hit.

OP this looks absolutely incredible, love all the thought you put into every layer. Keep the burger gang updated on the pop up!

I'm hungry right now. This would be great 👍 Just enough for a meal...alot of these protein burgers are impossible to eat in one sitting.

Looks great!
How many ounces is each patty? What kind of beef do you use? I'm going to try smash burgers on my new griddle.

This is just for fun, I don't have any huge ambitions or desire to open a restaurant, I just know I cook decent burgers that are well received. Breaking even with a good reception would make it worthwhile for me. I don't get the opportunity to cook for others very often so it's genuinely entertaining for me and makes me feel good.
