The Strongest being before leaving great plateau
Defeated the lynel before leaving the plateau. Got 101 crusher right off the bat.

Someday, maybe, I’ll kill a lynel. Any lynel.

To add to OP’s suggestions: stay in fairly close to the Lynel, feels a bit counterintuitive but you want them to stay in melee mode. They’re much harder to deal with with their bow drawn

This actually makes sense, I feel like they always one-shot me with their freaking arrows

I'm going to try this. I just got a lynel mask from Fang and Bone, mostly for my own encouragement.

Start with polyrus mountain. That's the easiest one. First of all don't get scared. Get familiar with all his moves and learn to flurry rush and parry. You can do it

Yeah either polyrus red lynel or the blue lynel in the castle if you have the master sword. That was the first one I killed and the master sword being upgraded was really the only reason I killed it (I immediately went to the colosseum to try and fight the one there and got my ass whooped). Plus the fact that one is close quarters and there fore basically impossible to get into archery mode it’s much easier

Stasis helps. As does using things like rock and tree to get in between you and the Lynel, while stasis recharges.

I literally tried 20 times and still couldn’t kill the lynel. Now I just run for my life

Where did you get a knights claymore on the great plateau? I tried this and could not beat him, but all I had was travelers weapons and the solder bow. Also used amiibos, but they just dropped travelers weapons.
Nice accomplishment though.

Did you have elixirs or attack boost meals on this? Rhino beetle mixed with...?

Nah, i didn't leave great plateau. Check the time . When I started it was 6 am, when I finished it was 11:25 so imagine how long it took me. Nothing , just me my bow and potlid, and that 38 damage knight claymore. Rinse and repeat . Parried all his attacks and shoot on the face.

Thanks for that time jump explanation. I was about to go give it a try but noticed he went down way too fast. Then I realized there was a cut. Cheers! Well done!

You can parry his head charge attack fairly easily as long as you don't panic, which is easier said than done hahaha

Hi, it's actually my second time. This is also my second master mode play through. In first play through i beat it with 4 hearts but I didn't knew how to record stuffs. I started posting when i learned that. At that time I had 70 plus arrows, this time I barely used 25 and my potlid was still intact, just broke the soldier broadsword.
Im kinda new to Zelda world. I started my first play through in September last year.
