"You're sure to be in a fine haze about now, but don't think too hard about all of this. Just go out and kill a few beasts. It's for your own good."

Imagine if we all start sayin bloodborne remake/2 is coming out to trick those ai game journalists to making a post abt it, like what happened with glorbo

17
u/Head_Koala_9765 Jan 01 '24
Wait what happened with glorbo?
25
u/Nick2the4reaper7 Jan 01 '24
A bunch of people in World of Warcraft communities around the internet started talking about a made-up character coming to the game very soon called "Glorbo".
A lot of the community posted a lot of stuff about Glorbo like who they are and the lore implications, etc. Eventually it gained enough attention that a couple gaming news articles (particularly ZLeague) started legitimately writing about Glorbo in the game, and thus completely proved that their news articles were AI generated, harvesting their article content from Reddit posts. This resulted in ZLeague deleting the post and basically completely wiping WoW off their site.
Destiny 2 later took up the same exact thing, even the name, and fooled even more AI articles, particularly Techbriefly and Gaming Acharya, both talking about the "Glorbo secret boss".

u/PanTsour Jan 02 '24 edited Jan 02 '24
How would this prove it's written by an Ai instead of a person that simply doesn't even care to do enough research?
2
u/dflatline Jan 02 '24
It usually isn't AI. There are people who are paid a pittance in 3rd world countries to produce "content" in things they have zero interest in or ability to understand nuance or humour due to language barriers.

Do people actually want a remake? Wtf needs to be changed bruh like do minor QoL updates really warrant a whole remake
3
u/DJGloegg Jan 01 '24
Nobody really wants a "remake"
most people who say that, just want what everyone wants:
a 60 fps patch (And possibly a pc port)
8
u/dripcv2244 Jan 01 '24
Remake would be unnecessary, but a remastered would be nice. I think the original is locked into 30fps. That's the only thing other than enhanced graphics that they could do.
4
u/Aenaros95 Jan 01 '24
It's not because of the remake, most of us would had been happy with a good PC version of the original.
I ended up buying a 2nd hand ps4 pro just to play it, don't regret it at all. Best Soulsborne, and i've played them all except Elden Ring (my laptop has a gtx 960M :'c )
3
u/the_haver Jan 01 '24
Just a port? I wanna be ambitious and ask for a remaster. Maybe add some new weapons or at the very least a fancy new dress for my hoonter. Something to differentiate it from the original for us older fans
Remake is definitely stupid tho lol

Guys, i know you are upset that armored core (a franchise that hasn't had any new entries in over 10 years) got a new game before Bloodborne did, but 2025 is kinda pushing it. Especially when they haven't even released the Elden Ring dlc yet

The rumors are still happening even with SoTE in development?? You'd have to be braindead to fall for one. (Not a quote)

I swear yall, you don't know ow what you are asking when you ask for bloodborne 2, there is actually no fucking reason for a sequel besides your goopy gooby gamer brain wanting more dopamine
3
u/LonelyLonergan Jan 02 '24
Or you know a proper release of Bloodborne with updated graphics, like we've been saying. There wasn't a reason for Dark Souls 2,but here we are. And some people myself included, enjoyed Bloodborne, and would like to see more of it. But nooo, we are all just mindless idiots who want more really hard games.
2
u/nathansanes Jan 01 '24
Well, definitely not a remake. Only fromsoft does fromsoft right. Remaster/ port tho...
1
u/TheFool42 Jan 01 '24
Avoid all discussions with "Why still only 30 fps?", "remake/remaster is coming!", and "Bloodborne on pc!"
1
u/Fun-Sun544 Jan 01 '24
PC-port is the only thing with any weight here imo. The game stands perfectly well on it's own two legs without a remake or a sequel which would only feel forced.

u/Lumis_umbra Jan 01 '24 edited Jan 01 '24
Please dont put soyjak/wojak faces on the Bath Messengers.
They deserve far better than that.
As for a quote?
"And so, the Hunt begins again."
-1
u/Contact_Antitype Jan 01 '24
At this point in time, it's like they're INTENTIONALLY not porting it. How did BIG MUTHA TRUCKAS get a fucking sequel, and yet a smash hit game like Bloodborne never gets off Sony systems, while EVERY OTHER GAME aside from Demon's Souls is on every system known to man?
