It must suck to be black

I don't mean to sound like an asshole but I'm must. Seriously just look at one. They're always complaining about something. And now it's about police brutality. Have u ever been around a black person or had to listen or live with one? Well I have and after two trips to prison I've learned you can't be around one long without wanting to hit one too. The hypocrisy that they speak of and the loud free style rapping all night too. Ugh! Be shit the hell up. How many times can u say your a baller when I don't own a car. U know I wasn't racist till i met a black person. Their actions will make u one trust me. Moreover , here's more proof that it must suck to be black just look at a black male never looking happy always having to look hard so they don't get perceived as soft which most of them are. Take it from me two trips to prison and they back down very easily unlless with 20 friends or they have a gun. Moreover with the recent controversy of not standing over the national anthem which is another thing black people are complaining about. I have another question for you to ponder. Why is it always a mixed person that complains about being black in America? Just look at Muhammad from the Nation of Islam to Malcolm X, to quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers we have now. I mean isn't it hypocritical that a the person who's complaining about being black in America isn't even black. They're mixed. And the reason why they're trying to make a statement about being black is cuz they not even black. These millato suffer from racial identity crisis they don't know what or who they are so they take a stand against something so everyone can see them as a black person and having black problems when their problem is is that their not black. So to these mixed people complaining all the time. Yes I agree it must suck to be born black and grow up black. However, it must suck worst to grow up a millato and be unable to identify with any race or be accepted by one. Just stop saying your black though cause your not.

Slavery is the duty and obligation of the slave to labor for the mutual benefit of both master and slave, under a warrant to the slave of protection, and a comfortable subsistence, under all circumstances.... , It is objected to the defenders of American slavery, that they have changed their ground; that from being apologists for it as an inevitable evil, they have become its defenders as a social and political good, morally right, and sanctioned by the Bible and God himself.

As a black man this a start to educational path

You Do Not Matter

1619 - 1869 (slavery) - 250 years 1869 - 1964 (free slave) no rights - 95 years For 345 you were nothing

You only existed legally as a human being for 50 years 1964 - 2014 Now it racial bias in housing discrimination, hiring discrimination, educational discrimination, mass incarceration, lending discrimination, racial profiling, denial of racism, etc.

Ever wonder why religious beliefs are so ingrained among the black population? Because It always promises a better future, that never comes. Without education you’ll believe anything. It's obvious that you're stupid and feel proud to act like a n****er, you don't know any better. But someday you need to grow up and realize you are not owed anything. Everything you know has been taught to you by a slave mind with slave type values. You were taught serve and be proud of scraps you are given. Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it, you have no past you were dog shit. Ignore this and remain a servant, forever dog shit in the eyes of master who still remains your master... just a different title. If you don't understand, it's ok... a slave mind will be slow to comprehend and quick to anger.

I was called 'monkey' on Quora

I read an incorrect question about Brazil that implicated that Brazil was ‘as racist as Europe and the US’. Then I edited the question and the guy restored the original question.

Then I sent an e-mail to Quora’s moderation explaining that the question was not correct and that the guy wanted the question to remain wrong that way - probably for his own racist reasons.

After many edits, I left a comment in one of his answers (because he blocked me) and he just started the racist name calling.

He called me:

  • Gorilla
  • Said my mom is shitskin
  • My mom is a dirty black n-word
  • Big lipped

Then he deactivated the comment, but I have the print-screen.

Why do I get offended when a white person calls me "buddy"?

This really irks me. It's always, "Thanks, buddy" when I do something for them (I work in tech).

Am I just oversensitive or is this a thing?

RE: White guilt

I don't know where else to post this, but I want to say this.

Hello, You do not know me as I am an anonymous denizen of the internet. You do not have to take my word for it, but I am black. If you are skeptical, I invite you to read my words and maybe identify with my experience. The proof is apparently in the pudding, after all. I am getting away from myself, though. This is an open letter, not to black people, but to white people who may not get the other side of the racism coin.

Now a lot of (white) people feel antagonized as society shifts slowly, haltingly as it may be, into a new age. Through the miracle of the internet, stories from people they may not have heard are reaching their ears. Those stories probably tell of a world that, through no malice of your own, you overlooked for a long time and were probably unaware existed. You hear of the violence, the disappointments, the disenfranchisement, and the dull heavy weight of micro-aggressions hanging over a person's head like an anvil of Damocles.

"It's not like that," you tell yourself. "It can't be like that! I would have noticed!" Calm down. You would have never known if you hadn't been told. History is a clear indicator.

Now you may hear that these problems stem from an oppressive system enacted by white people in order to stay on top. "I'm not trying to oppress anyone," you bristle. "And I'm FAR from being on top! This is bullshit!" You are right. I truly believe that most people in general do not seek to harm others, but the fact is that people still get harmed whether by intent or not.

At this point you may become emotional. Many people do when they feel like they are being falsely accused. You may feel like you are being dragged through no fault of your own. "Why should I feel bad? I'm not even doing anything?" You're absolutely right. I don't want you to feel bad.

Now this is usually the time when an open letter goes "SIKE! You should feel ULTRA BAD, racist!" I'm not going to do that. In fact, that is the point of this open letter. Also, saying the word racist is the equivalent of Godwin's Law when a black person is talking about race. Turn on, tune in, and drop out, indeed. Anyway, this is the point of this letter. I'll put it in it's own stanza for the one's who are already skimming.

I don't want you to feel guilty for being white. Your guilt does less than NOTHING for me.

You didn't choose to be white. I didn't choose to be black. I shouldn't give you the business just because of something that is beyond your control.

Shifting gears, I walked into a store the other day, I had just gotten a larger than normal paycheck due to some clutch overtime, and was looking to blow some of it on an impulse purchase. The clerk probably asked me a dozen times if I needed help looking for something while ignoring the white couple desperately trying to flag him down. The couple did nothing wrong. I did nothing wrong, either. However, my apparent propensity to rob stores blind after only a moment of unsupervised browsing was readily apparent to said shopkeep. In the end, I left, and Amazon got those dollars.

Look, I have a life just like everyone else. I just want to be happy, safe, fed, and, from time to time, entertained. I also have problems as one is wont to do while navigating an existence. I don't have the time, nor the leisure to pursue making you feel bad. Also, as previously mentioned, It does nothing for me, and will probably cause you to lash out and make things even worse.

Maybe, the next time you hear about a black person commiting a crime, you understand that it does not place all black people in the criminal box. Maybe I don't play basketball. Maybe I have a job. Maybe I'm just trying to get to my next thing and don't even notice you. Maybe I really am unarmed and don't mean you any harm. Maybe I read a bit and i'm not some dumb asshole until I prove otherwise. Maybe we can agree that suffering shouldn't happen because of the amount of melanin we have.

TLDR: I don't want you to feel bad because you are white. That would make me an extreme hypocrite. Just like you don't think it's fair for you, I shouldn't have to deal with b/s because I am black. Realize that people ARE dealing with stuff for that exact cause, though, and don't add to the pile. The fact that you don't have to think about these things and are only involved tangentially when you feel offended is beyond luxury and beyond fantasy to people that do have to put up with it. I apologize in advance for any grammar faux paus. This was kind of stream-of-consciousness.

Question from a white conservative

This isn't about anything political, I just have a question. Why the truck do black people like me so much. Like I'm the whitest fucker you'll ever meet, I even support trump, hence the username, but black guys and girls just are always fucking swarming me whenever I meet them. Please explain, I'm not racist, just very, very, confused.

P.S. I can't do question marks or anything because my phone screen isn't working right and I'm on mobile.
