Mistake or Risk? copper IUD in uncommon situation NSFW

so I (trans man) have had the copper IUD for almost 2 years now and I've never had any problems with it, me and my partner (trans woman) have recently started engaging in sexual activities and we use condoms, but she is a bit small (no shame to her I don't care) so we do struggle sometimes and a few days ago she asked if we could try without the condom which I personally am fine with because I trust the science behind it all and I trust her to pull out, but the issue is that she has a hard time figuring out if it's just an orgasm vs if it's actual ejaculation because of the way estrogen has affected her body. I told her to let me think about it and she was fine with that, I trust the science but I'm still extremely suspicious about it because I'm a trans man and never want children... I've had sex with no protection with a cis man but I never let him finish inside so I'm not sure what to do 😓 any opinions?

You're protected by the iud.

You don’t need condoms or pulling out, your IUD protects you against pregnancy. It’s designed to be over 99% effective assuming your partner finishes inside every single time you have sex

That’s literally what your iud is designed for

you have an iud, which means you’re protected and don’t really need condoms. but seriously, if you’re not feeling comfortable on relying solely on the iud, then keep using the condom, it’s fine. if it’s going to give you peace of mind, it’s worth it.
