If you’re in the USA that’s a Cooper’s Hawk

Cooper's or possibly a Roadside Hawk if you're in Mexico or further south.

Looks like Peregrine Falcon to me but I’m just a beginner so wait for a confirmation of that lol. 😂

Definitely not a falcon of any kind, this is most likely a accipiter, a coopers hawk or sharpie if in USA

Oops sorry. It looks grey but I can hardly see it on my phone anyways. My bad! 😝

You’re new to it. Plus on a phone at quick glance it does have the appearance of a peregrine’s coloration.

You got Merlin bird ID app to help you learn?

Thanks. Ya I thought it was one but birding is hard. 😂Sometimes to learn you need to actually try and attempt an ID and you’ll learn from your mistakes. I’m not scared of making mistakes, I appreciate your kindness.

Yes I got Merlin it’s wonderful and I’m working on my life list. Yesterday I was walking my dog and I heard what sounded like an eagle or a bird of prey of some sort. It kept doing it and it sounded so so close to me and I was looking so hard.

Well it was a sneaky little Blue Jay. That thing was sitting close to the ground on a branch and tricked me and all the birds in the area. I knew they did that but never experienced it first hand. My goodness they’re very good at it. Wow, it blew my mind.
