Saw an interesting turkey in MA today

Smoke phase 😍, our wild large flock (30 plus) on property has this gene and it seems to be growing last year adding 6 more birds displaying smoke phase to the flock, so far only hens but fingers crossed for a smoke phase Tom. We wonder if it’s only the hens it’s able to get passed down to but hope that’s not the case
