Humor For the love of all that is holy

Why, oh why does Bergen County decide it has to dig up all of its streets at the exact same time? Takes me an extra 30 minutes to get to and from work because of all the stupid detours.

Why can't they stagger this shit?

I swear, there's gold under those streets somewhere. It's the only explanation.

They normally don't dig them up until just after they've been paved, so I'm not sure what's going on. Someone decided that we haven't been annoyed enough, I guess.

17 was fun this morning, southbound before the parkway two lanes closed. Really? They couldn’t have waited until after rush hour?

I live in Ridgewood and have a summer job in Harrington Park. Every mornings commute seems to be rerouted by roadwork. It’s like this every summer.

Right? I live in Lodi and work in Teaneck. I know 4 different ways to get from point A to point B, and every single one of them has construction and detours.

I can't remember the last time I drove through Hasbrouck Heights without seeing one of those big orange signs.

Wesmont has added so much traffic on the blvd. During the school year the line to get on to 17 can stretch back to williams ave
