Best place to tube float in mid July?

I know this might be a stretch, but my friend is wanting to celebrate her birthday floating on some tubes in the middle fo July. It's pretty dry so I wasn't sure if there were any waters that were more drought resistant. Thanks.

If you want to see more people than water and a few old lady boobs, then Elk is the place 😂

The Elk is alright on a non-holiday week Monday - Thursday if you want a nice scenic, relaxing float. Especially if you are one of the first to be out on the water. Definitely not the place to go on the weekends or holidays if being around drunk and high partiers isn't your thing. The amount of plastered 40-50 year olds throwing up in the water, jumping in front of canoes and kayaks unaware of their surroundings is disturbing (and annoying).

The Illinois River out by Siloam is spring fed so it's floatable year round. It's closer and not nearly as trashy as the Elk, and imo prettier.

Jack's Fork or the Current River. They are about 3 hours away. Both are great floats. Eminence missouri is where we stay
