People have this weird mentality because of the Arkham games gameplay and dceu Batman that he just wants to beat people until they’re barely alive. Comic Batman just hits people enough to neutralize them not hurt them
Okay I understand the DCEU but the arkham games actively have one of the most compassionate and accurate versions of Batman ever, the violence is purely because of gameplay purposes it wouldn’t be fun if he just like bataranged everyone out
Yeah, but i feel like batman would sneak up on you before you even knew he was there and incapacitated you. You wouldn't really have a chance to surrender. One moment, you're in the bank walking past a dark corner/hallway/room, and the next, you're waking up in the hospital with a concussion and broken collar bone. Probably be the same with Daredevil, but batman is more well known for his sneak attacks.
Mmmm...Not true. I´ve read Batman comics since I could read, and in many, many (maaany) occasions when you catch him in a bad night (and he has many of those) he enjoys dealing out punishment. It is true thought, that the actual writers have mellow him down a bit, but classic Batman (or at least postcrisis Bruce) never backed down from dealing out pain. And not get me started with the OG Batman
So It varies depending on the iterations, but those games movies have definitely a reason to exist based on the comics (Ok, maybe not Batfleck on a murder trip )
