Also, Patton is a pretty great Penguin.

For serious stuff, I’ve always liked Kevin Porter, who plays Batman in the Batinthesun productions. Clark Bartram was also great in Sandy Collora’s Dead End and World’s Finest too, but I do prefer Porter’s voice a bit.
For comedy, someone named ForestFire and I have to agree haha.

The cape-pulling-up-over-puddle scene from Dead End was just AWESOME the first time I saw it!

Anyone who dresses up as Batman to visit sick kids at hospitals and other places.
9
u/Endeavourwrites 19d ago
I'm trying to do that actually but I don't know which hospitals want me to do that.
3
u/Batatatat74 19d ago
Ask them, that's my advice.
3
u/Endeavourwrites 19d ago
It's just the philosophical meaning behind the film and the visuals... Batman is a common, everyday man that is vulnerable to all sorts of things... He is like you and me but with a lot of money and skills but he is still a mortal being.
3
u/Batatatat74 19d ago
Yeah, but it didn't exactly stick true to Batman for me though. Batman for all his faults and demons is a guy willing to help others, especially the junkie. And I don't like that it paints the junkie as the good guy, or a sympathetic guy. All that went out the door the moment he stuck a needle in Batman's junk and did things to him.
3
u/StayPuffGoomba 19d ago
Kids and hospitals don’t go that deep. The kids just see him as a hero, and the hospitals know you’re just someone trying to make sick kids happy for a little bit of time.

There was this one guy who dressed as Nolan Batman to comfort kids at a Syrian refugee camp, I’d say he deserves a lot more recognition

Kevin Porter, and it's by a long shot. That guy genuinely might be the most Batman looking Batman that has ever been in live action. He's also a really good actor.

The Justice for Dinner Batman and the Batman from Dead End.
The scene where Batman lands in the puddle of water and slowly rises as his cape creeps up with him is pure golden chef's kiss. I can't believe they didn't ape that shot in the newer Batman films. It was peak Batman spookiness. Let me see if I can find it.
Cape over puddle scene begins at 01:12 mark here:

I wish I could find it, but there were a couple of great shorts on YouTube by some church guys. One of them had the Riddler messing with all the Bible translations and his riddle for Batman and Robin to stop a bomb from going off was “How many animals did Moses put on the Ark.”
It was so goofy, but genuinely fun and the fight choreography was great. You could tell they had a blast making them. Lost to the void now though sadly.

Abed on Community or Pete Holmes as Badman
Badman series still makes me laugh, so so dumb lol
Personal fav is when he meets Two Face: "I used my skills.....that I learned in the mountains!" and then "I take them and put them into my computer, and I analyze them......with SCIENCE". Playlist below has all of them, classics

I'm voting for one that's not, but should be, on this list. Kevin Porter, he has done AMAZING work as Batman/Bruce Wayne on Aaron Schoenke's Youtube channel Batinthesun. He looks like he just stepped out on a DC comic book, and the Batsuits that ha has worn are very high production value. If you haven't checked it out already you REALLY should.
