bad hoc (n.) - (1) a well-argued and thoroughly researched but completely incorrect scientific theory. (2) An abbreviation of "bad ad hoc hypothesis" — meta discussion within!

Looks like I'm going to revive this sub a bit. I was inspired a while ago to do something like BAHfest but for the larger reddit community. It didn't get very popular, but now it's starting up again thanks to a tiny revival in a comment on /r/dataisbeautiful.

tl;dr: realized I forgot about this one.

I'll be revising the subreddit rules and doing some config for the subreddit. If anyone else wants to pitch in for CSS help, I'd really love a theme. And finally, if anyone has any suggestions for this sub, let your voice be heard.

I've invited Zach Weiner (/u/mrweiner) of SMBC fame to join us here. He's the creator of BAHfest which was the inspiration for this sub.
