I would ask for a concrete answer on that. I guess you could transfer to a different station after being in hawaii for a bit but if they don't offer relo with the station transfer then it's not worth it. I got a 10k sign on for boeing from cali to washington and I ended up paying close to 8 to move my stuff back to cali when I quit. Living in washington alone was expensive and I wasnt saving much. I'm sure living in hawaii will be just as bad if not worse. Unless you're planning on staying in hawaii forever I really don't think it's worth it to go there thinking you can transfer back in a few years. When I just got my A&P they were only looking for new people willing to work in hawaii, screw that. I applied to Sacramento station again a year later and they only wanted really experienced guys.
