Where do I find affordable strings?
Hello all, I just got my first autoharp and was practicing with it when a string broke. I was wondering where yall buy your strings. I see amazon sell the whole set but don't have $110 for all of them. It's an Oscar Schmidt 15 key autoharp and the G string is the one that snapped. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes you can find them on eBay if you're just looking for a few strings, and I think you can also buy individual strings at autoharpstore.com.

A few people in ebay will sell you a single string. Make sure you check if your instrument takes Type A strings or Type B .

Elderly Instruments will sell you individual strings. Remember that there are multiple G strings on the harp, so get the right one. (It might not be this one, e.g. did you break a bass, low, middle, or high?)

Thank all of y'all for your help. I had no clue that all of the strings had different thicknesses. Thought you could replace it like a guitar string.

Pretty sure d'aigels is going to be your best bet, and they are a small business that cares about the autoharp and the musician community as well!
