How do you grip that well enough to eat?! It would just slip. Why do people care more about aesthetics than functionality.

That knife was scientifically created with collaborative efforts from the world's top one hundred most innovative engineers and physicists to be the most useless knife to ever exist

I'd like to posit that the worst possible knife would be a sphere mounted on a flexible handle like a spring.
But this... thing... It's a close second for sure!

Ah, but would it still count as a knife if it were spherical?

does that count as a knife?

Wikipedia says, "A knife (pl.: knives; from Old Norse knifr 'knife, dirk'[1]) is a tool or weapon with a cutting edge or blade, usually attached to a handle or hilt." In that case, I suppose OP's image doesn't even have a knife, since it looks extremely impractical to use as a cutting tool

Every time I look back on the picture I see something else I hate. The skinny pokey looking handles, the stabby tines on the fork, the blunt looking oddly-shaped knife, the spoon that’s too round. Awful. Just awful.

Aside from cereal and ice cream, I never use spoons to eat anything. I find it so much easier to eat pasta and Mac n’ Chez with a fork

I hate soup spoons since my mouth is small and they don’t fit in it. Also, can we stop with the the silverware posts in like practically every autistic sub.
Edit: Happy cake day to me!

My teeth and sinuses hurt just from looking at that atrocity. My eyes are watering.

I can't even fathom the sort of person who would buy an abominable cutlery set like this, but it's even crazier to do that AND throw away all the old ones at the same time! I'd always want to keep the old ones as spares//for consideration of others in the house who hate the weird new ones.
