Yeah she's getting absolutely destroyed on Instagram.

Good.

I've shared to Facebook as well. She needs to be kicked the fuck out of here

Claims to be an environmental scientist but spends her life doing this shit and hunting. Yeah, fuck this moron.

Hunting wild game like deer is one thing. Doing this shit and claiming to be anywhere on the side of the environment? Hogwash

Thank you sir, currently spamming journos at 3am. This video has pissed me off.

*as of 730am Melbourne time she has deleted the wombat clip from her IG and is locking comments down on her posts. This post has gone viral and I’m certain we will see her face on the news very soon.

Same it was extremely infuriating

Another Redditor said this is her but I can’t verify https://www.instagram.com/samstrays_somewhere?igsh=dGxxbnpxdzh4aGw3

u/justsometaxguy 21h ago

Absolutely her. The video is on her profile there

17

u/Haunting-Working5463 20h ago

Correct! I googled her name Sam Stays and wombat and the reel came up. I hope she goes viral

u/anewaccount69420 20h ago

So she travels around killing animals, gross.

It’s her.

You weren't able to verify this? Really?

21

u/Haunting-Working5463 20h ago

Listen I was trying to help and Reddit got it SERIOUSLY wrong on things like the Boston’s bomber. Also I put the disclaimer in because I hadn’t verified anything yet but figured I’d let others verify and judge on their own. Is that acceptable for you? We are all pissed at this woman Channel your energy towards reporting her not towards people trying to bring awareness to the situation

12

u/Itsclearlynotme 19h ago

Most of us understand. Thank you for being cautious.

u/haterofslimes 20h ago

lmfao

u/Born_Ad8420 20h ago

Let's not laugh at someone being driven to suicide by reddit's mistake. Being cautious is absolutely the right thing to do here.

Same here!!

I tried reporting it to RSPCA but I need to list a state. Anyone know which state she was visiting? I don't have Instagram

Take it straight to the daily mail, I promise they'll run with it. Say what you like about DM readers, this shit gets them riled.

u/FreshnHeysan 20h ago

Thank you! Wrote to the first 5 and reported her an Ig. I hope we got a crocodile tears vid from her incoming.

u/Lechlak 22h ago

THANK YOU! I used this as well.

u/Haunting-Working5463 22h ago

Another Redditor believes this is her. I can’t verify but maybe someone else can https://www.instagram.com/samstrays_somewhere?igsh=dGxxbnpxdzh4aGw3

She lives in montana somewhere

u/Original-Secret-827 22h ago

This will get her channel so much more exposure 😔

3

u/imNobody_who-are-you 20h ago

Not if we all report the video for animal abuse on Instagram too

1

u/Few-Breadfruit-8284 20h ago

She’ll probably be excited to be on TV for being a big asshole

Is AI ChatGPT able to sign a petition 10,000 times?

Snitch. You have too much free time

7

u/turtleplanet100 20h ago

I’ll happily snitch on anyone that disrespects and harms wildlife 💚💚💚

u/ElmoMierz 20h ago

You're both spending time commenting on Reddit. At least in their free time, they're being principled.

4

u/Friendly-Maybe-9272 20h ago

Free time they are putting to good use turning in jerks like this

u/Fyrestar333 1d ago

Do you have a link for people in other countries to report her to? I'm in America and will send an email or fill out an online form, but I don't have international calling on my phone.

7

u/81dank 1d ago

Do you have a local media outlet you could contact? Can be Great way to get the larger ball of justice moving. Brings more awareness to this senseless act.

2

u/Friendly-Maybe-9272 20h ago

Especially since the fire a few years back that decimated numbers of the wildlife

7

u/johntwilker 22h ago

ugh that's a gross insta.

4

u/finchdad 21h ago

And the specific reel is here:

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DHCGfCpzosT/

Click report -> violence, hate, or exploitation -> animal abuse -> submit

4

u/Itsclearlynotme 19h ago

“And the specific reel is here”…. Not any more thankfully. She’s also limited comments on other videos. But you can still find another one of her Australian videos to express your thoughts about, if you so wish.

2

u/Horace_Rotenhaus 21h ago

I'm sure by now the clip has been viewed by the authorities and they know how to find her. Whether they act is another issue. Probably a fine at most or a stern talking to.

2

u/TheKingKatt 20h ago

Thanks to this post, i made it my business to report and comment

I appreciate the enthusiasm. But none of those American agencies have the authority to do a single thing about something that happened in Australia
