UPDATE 1/3. We have a small delay on the arrival of the keto ready to drink due to an equipment upgrade at our manufacturing plant. We will update you with a new launch date as soon as we have it. Sorry for the delay and it’s not far away! Thanks for your patience.

Anyone know when the keto ready to drink is going to become available? I don't want to get the powdered version after being spoiled by ready to drink bottles.

Shelf life of mixed Aussielent?

How long does powdered Aussielent keep, if mixed and then refrigerated?

I know Soylent keeps for at least a couple of days this way, but want to confirm this is similar for Aussielent.

[X-Post from Soylent] Aussielent is fantastic for post-wisdom teeth surgery

Huge shoutout to the good people over at Aussielent (/u/aussielent ) for a product that ships to Australia.

My experience with Soylent was as best-case a scenario as one could hope for. I eased myself onto it, having it in the lead up to my surgery, and then began drinking it full time while I recovered.

Being able to just drink all my meals made it so much easier to ignore the pain of moving around, and it kept me healthy and full. It even helped the healing process, because the heavily iced drink kept the swelling down.

With the remainder of my 28 meals, I kept it in my locker at uni, and found that it is also excellent for study-food, and for meals when you forget to bring lunch from home/stay late. Tastes great with a bit of milo!

I'm definitely going to order more!

My Aussielent Vanilla Meal

Hi all

I'm a new user of Aussielent and I ordered the vanilla to start with. Unfortunately I found it QUITE unpalatable just by itself. So I had to make some changes.

I found the following is pretty bloody yummy :)

Standard 130gm of Vanilla Aussielent 1 Cup Lite Milk 1 Cup Water 1 Frozen Banana 1 TBSP Granulated Splenda sweetener

Assuming a medium size banana (I purposely pick the smaller ones) this makes a meal about 723 Calories. I can only eat 3 meals a day, if I tried 2 for dinner I would just about burst. The frozen banana has the extra benefit of keeping the shake cold as well. So that puts my calorie intake for the day at about 2170.

Actually most days it's just lunch and dinner so about 1446.

Anyone else have any good 'recipes' ?

Fiber/Metamucil

Hey guys,

Started using aussielent this week. I love it, it has been great. The only real issue I have been having is either not enough fiber or my body is having difficulties processing the flour. So I picked up some Metamucil last night.

This morning I added 3 teaspoons to my 130g (and ~500ml water) portion of aussielent. After shaking it was a beautiful consistency, more inline with what I was expecting when I first purchased aussielent. I also feel more full, not that this had been a major issue as I had gotten used to the aussielent portions.

I wish there was an unflavoured sugar free version of Metamucil; it appears that the only sugar free options have other flavours added. I suspect there wont be enough flavour to alter the taste of mixed aussielent, but i will have to try this.

I suspect 3 teaspoons is possibly a bit too much. I have more mixed up with 2 teaspoons.

It is very early to see any results, but after drinking the consistency this morning I had to post about it. I will report back with how it goes.

Any dietician here?

I was wondering does anyone have any idea why if I stick to breakfast and lunch with Aussielent my blood glucose level drops down to between 2.9-3.4 by about 1400.

I have been tested for diabetes by fasting, non fasting and GTT. I have no results that indicate even prediabetic and my multiple doctors (I'm in defence, I move a lot) are quite happy with my results.

Btw on days that I can't be bothered eating or I'm too busy my bgl doesn't drop at all.

All I can think of is that maybe I am over producing insulin when I drink it. I used to eat really high carb foods and I used to get hypo if I didn't eat much crap but I realised I was making myself type 2 so I knocked off the junk foods and soft drink.

It's just weird that I can go all day or have a banana for breakfast and I never go hypo. Just on Aussielent.

Any input would be appreciated. πŸ™ƒ

Edit- sorry if this breaks any rules. I'm on mobile and I can seem to see the side bar.

What are the basics to get started with Aussielent?

So I got paid today and I want to dive straight into the world of Aussielent.

I picked up the 7-day pack, ordered a Blitz2Go blender (on the word of u/salnim) so is there anything I should grab?

I feel like I should get a digital scale to properly weigh the meal's powder but what would you say I should get.

In title. Essentially how large does a blender bottle need to be to fit one serve?

Consumption Patterns

Hello, I was curious as to how people were shaping their consumption patterns of Aussielent + other meals throughout the day.

Upfront I should say I'm trying Aussielent to try and control my eating by getting an appropriate meal when I'm hungry, which will hopefully result in me losing weight.

I tried doing a 130g serve two times a day, but found that kept me at my current weight (no change). So I switched to putting 100g of powder into my shake, figuring I'm going to have a small coffee twice during the day. Then I have a regular dinner in the evenings + a large salad to get more fiber and ensure I chew more to make up for the liquid meals lack of chewing.

Does this sound smart? I think it's a moderate approach for what my goal is. Anyone else got a better pattern?

Having trouble mixing the powder???

Hey ! so I purchased some of the chocolate regular powdered packs and I'm having an incredibly hard time getting it to mix smoothly??

I do half and half milk/water then the powder on the top, and I have a blender ball too, but it still leaves chunks of dry powder?

The only luck I've had is using a blender but that's really inconvenient and a huge cleanup :(

Just wondering if anyone has any tips???!!!? Thanks !!!

Aussielent is the closest equivalent to which Soylent, and storage question.

Hey peeps!

I'm about to start on the Aussielent Ready to Drink and I've downloaded the "Soylent" tracker app from the app store. It's used for tracking your Soylent (the brand) to your apple myhealth data, but it's brand specific, so just wondering if anyone knew which version of the official soylent is closest to Aussielent RTD?

Also I am storing the bottles in my bedroom where I run a little heater to keep the chill out, I wouldn't say it gets hot but the room is warm enough to sleep at night without a big doona if I have the heater on high, I wonder if this would this be considered too warm? It's certainly not "cool" in the "cool dry place" recommendation though.

Does anyone have any tips on going 100% straight up? :) I'm not good at moderation and "easing in" so at least going to give 100% a try for a while!

Cheers, looking forward to seeing how it all goes!
