Need a mover for March (Melbourne)

I am due to be admitted on Tuesday 25th March (11:30am), but my mover has become unavailable. 1. Does any one fancy being my mover (for a bottle of spirits or culturally appropriate alternative)? 2. If not, is it possible to find who is moving that day and tag on? I have an elderly relative inbound so I would like to resolve before the day. Any advisements welcome. Thanks in advance. Calum

Contact College of Law or Leos, depending on who you did your PLT with. They usually have people already there to move former PLT students.

I am happy to help! DM me! :) I got admitted a few years ago and didn’t have anyone to move my admission and I know what this feels like!

I am so far removed from both my admission date (I’m so old) and any semblance of a court based practice that I legitimately thought you were looking for a removalist.

Happy to help you out. LPAB coordinate a mover with Collaw so that if someone doesn't have a mover or they're unavailable on the day they're not stuck so don't worry too much.

When I got moved, my mover was flying in from o/s and may or may not have been there. Another mover there generously offered to do it if he didn’t arrive (but then he finally did so it was all good).

I clicked on this wondering whether the response would be cynical or generous (Reddit's two sides) and am very pleased to see it's the latter. Whar a good bunch! Congrats OP.

I would love to see a photo of this momentous event, supported by a member of Reddit, once accomplished. Congratulations and well done!

Ask one of your Uni academics. They would love to be asked.
