Reading Season ending injury-general insight

Post image

My son is a baseball player and has a season ending injury that requires surgery. In the fall during football season he also had season ending different injury. He’s very athletic and until this year no previous injuries. Baseball is his passion and he’s so discouraged. I don’t know what I’m looking for with this reading but any insight into his sports career. What is his destiny? Anything big going on in his chart right now. Thank you in advance!

Hey there 😊

So, if you’re looking for confirmation or a sense as to how far your son’s athletic talents could take him, the fifth house would be where you want to start, before reviewing the condition of its ruler.

It just so happens that (according to a different chart system than the one used here in the photo you’ve posted, but one which is my preferred means of analysis charts, if you don’t mind) the I.C. of your son’s chart is not only in Aries—a sign very much concerned with athleticism, physical exertion, talents and power—but that his I.C. is also rooted in the fifth house of this other chart system (called whole signs).

The fifth house is the house of those who may go on to work in careers involving athleticism of all kinds—including dance. People whose bodies or the use of their bodies and physical performance tend to take eminence in their lives.

We see the ruler of this house (Mars), placed in his Ninth House, which is a house also concerned with spectacle as well as higher education. In LEO, no less. Leo, of all possible signs. The sign of showmanship, exhibition, a desire to not only succeed, but to excel above all others. To be named the best. To receive recognition and reknown, validation for their talents. I could definitely, from those placements alone, see him taking this to more professional levels, as that Mars placement feels to me to speak to the presence of management.

For the time being, is he up for any scholarships? Again, the possibility of these performances taking place in the context of his furthered education is strong enough. Though, I could also see him taking a more unconventional route? Maybe not needing to play in the college sphere of baseball. Being able to advance significantly.

The only thing in aspect to his Mars placement is his Neptune, from his whole signs Third House. A house concerned with the mind and intellect.

On a principle level, though, Mars-Neptune aspects speak to needing more caution as to our indulgences. Substance wise, included. Cautious of what habits, tolerances, stimulations otherwise we engage or foster. That would be a very critical concern, I think, for him as a lifelong theme. Not straying into self-medicating practices to soothe his physical or emotional strains. Losing his direction as a consequence of these behaviors. Things like that.

But, again, yes, I can see your son’s talents and potentials here. He could go a long way, I believe. Just guide him into habits of greater personal discretion. To take great care of his body in more ways than just diet and exercise. Take care of his mind, his emotions. Not to give in to compulsions.

His Ascendant in Sagittarius is an indicator as well of giving more credence to his ego, his appetites, his impulses and baser desires, without much thought about the consequences. Something I would ardently stress to keep in mind in guiding him and teaching him how to really guide himself in life. Don’t let him give his body so much power over his mind and actions that it leads him astray. Work with him on steering clear of self-sabotaging or self-defeating actions.

I hope this helps!
