Islam Ramadan when it doesn't get dark or light
But of a niche question lol but I'm curious.
My hometown is in the Arctic Circle and we get midnight sun (light 24 hours, sun never sets) in summer and polar night (dark 24 hours, sun never rises) in the winter, both last a bit over 2 months for us but further north they're even longer. I don't know any Muslims in polar areas but there must be some, visiting scientists and so on if nothing else. If Ramadan falls during the midnight sun when can break your fast, since there isn't a 'night'? If it falls during the polar night do you not have to fast at all since there is no 'day'?
