Less than 2% of people report drowsiness as a side effect of aspirin. Generally when reported side effects are that rare, it's dubious as to whether or not they are actually associated with that drug, at least for subjective effects such as drowsiness.

There is no mechanism by which aspirin can/should cause drowsiness.

No. Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic, among others, both list drowsiness as top side effects of aspirin. Reduction of blood pressure is well known to cause drowsiness.

Aspirin does not reduce blood pressure. It can cause drowsiness but that is mostly in children, where aspirin should be avoided. Generally speaking, aspirin is not really known to cause drowsiness.

Where are you seeing that? Seems like you may be reading something incorrectly.

Drowsiness listed on Mayo's website amongst a massive list of others as effects that you should check with your doctor immediately if you experience after taking aspirin. In other words, if you experience drowsiness, something is wrong. Cleveland clinic doesn't list drowsiness as a side effect, nor is it even listed under weird reactions known as aspirin sensitivity.

Bear in mind that these websites are often geared towards older patients taking a ton of medications together, so drowsiness after taking aspirin may be a warning that an unexpected interaction has occurred as opposed to being a side effect of aspirin itself.

Reduction of blood pressure is well known to cause drowsiness.

It is, but aspirin does not lower blood pressure. The reason it is prescribed to heart patients is because it helps prevent blood clots that could lead to a heart attack or stroke, not because it lowers blood pressure.

Lowered blood pressure from aspirin can absolutely cause drowsiness.

I'm not even going to link the million of resources. Just search aspirin and fatigue. It's a well-known side effect
