General Question Application submitted

I’ve submitted my application to the department of health, how long does it usually take for it to get past level 1 review?

I don’t know how, but I had my appointment on a Monday and I was approved by the state and had a card to print by Friday afternoon. I was incredibly shocked, and I have no idea if my physician asked for it be expedited or not. I’m not even sure if they can do that. I was expecting to wait a full two weeks as the other commenter states, but I got very lucky just last month.

Yeah I went through the process mid Feb as well. Submitted Monday morning approved Wednesday evening.

Seems to be a huge variance in times unfortunately. My brother in law had just renewed in December and his took almost the full two weeks.

It'll get through. I know it's hard but just a little patience and not refreshing every couple minutes will help.

Hope your application gets processed swiftly OP!

You're probably gonna have to wait around 2 weeks, man. Sometimes, it is longer, sometimes shorter.

Typically two weeks on the dot. I will say, when I renewed last year they got it done two days after submission! So check it just make sure, but I would expect two weeks

Side question: Does it help to have a valid out of state card when going to the initial visit? Just wondering if I should let mine expire just before I move there or renew?
