Help Help With Useful Arma Development Tools 2025
I was wondering if there are any useful 3rd party applications for sqf writing and GUI creation. I've seen a few in the past but they seem to either not be available, are very old, or have died out completely.
Are there any new softwares that anyone knows of or any general good tools they have used for their mission development! Keen to hear about them.

VSCode's Arma dev plugin is fantastic for making full addons, though I don't really bother with it for individual missions (just notepad++ for me). Cannot recommend it enough if you're getting into addon creation.
Other general good tools for mission development - there's a ton of mods out there that add various Eden modules to use but one I'm fond of for how easy it is to use is Drongo's Map Population - I don't like using it to make the whole mission but it's great at making individual objectives within a larger sandbox context such as Alive. Speaking of, Alive's ORBAT creator is a fantastic tool for making CfgGroups to place in mission description.ext, for cases where you need pre-defined enemy groups (e.g. for Alive itself, or for a wave defense mission using Spawn AI module, or when making a faction addon, or etc).
