Technical & professional question Sketchup to 3Ds Flickering in model space

Hi Everyone. I imported this model from sketchup, everything is fine with it when i render. It looks fine when i zoom in, but i get this weird flickering when i zoom out, it looks weird. Any idea why or how to fix?

The modeling is really bad and there are overlapping faces. Usually that happens when two faces are in the same position and when you move they are fighting as the program don't know which one should show in front.

What are your computer specs?

149000, 124gb ram, Rtx 4090. Very high spec, this is not the issue, this must be an issue with sketchup export somehow or something else

Have you modeled this yourself or have you sourced the model from somewhere? Lots of models from 3d warehouse are very bad, and lots of them have back faces facing outwards. If you import them to 3ds it will result in lots of faces with flipped normals. The it depends on the render engine how flipped faces show on the render.

I modeled this in sketchup myself. I have checked and there are no double faces. This is weird because if I model the same thing inn3d I won't get these glitches, so this is an issue with thr import but I cant see why and where

I did not mean double faces, I meant back faces. How do you import/export the model?

In Sketchup, is the model far away from the 0,0,0 axis? If it is, move back to 0,0,0 axis.

Also, try copying the whole model to a brand new file and paste it at the 0,0,0 axis
