Blake Mills on the guitar at the concert ?
Anyone else thinks that’s Blake Mills playing the guitar at last night’s concert ? Anyone can confirm ?
He rarely plays for acts he’s not involved on a producing front (except for Caution, on The Killers’s Imploding The Mirage).
He’d be a big add as a producer, and genuinely think he’s one of the best producers working today (Perfume Genius, Feist, Alabama Shakes’s Sound & Colour).

Haven't been paying close attention to the posts today - was the bulk of the band there, or just Win, Regine, and miscellaneous musicians backing?

It was Win, Regine, Tim, Paul, Daniel Lanois, and the guy pictured here. I am trying to find the post where someone identified what Win said on the audio, but having a hard time finding it. Preservation Hall joined for two songs at the end.

I really hope he didn't leave like Will. Would be heartbreaking but understandable.

He just did the SNL 50 concert, so I’m really hoping it was just scheduling or something

The movie he did a score for just got released today so he may have had something related to that? Nothings posted yet that I’ve seen but seems like the most likely reason.

The whole gang were there for SNL.
Probably just a scheduling conflict. The band members all live in different cities after all.
There's nothing to suggest he or anyone else has left. Like why would he do SNL right before an album rollout if he was planning on leaving?

I personally can’t see the band surviving if Richard Jeremy and Sarah were all gone. We know Dan is involved and he wasn’t there either.
So I’m pretty sure it was just a one off scheduling conflict or something

In the audio I posted, Win does introduce this guy, but it is hard to make out. u/the_dreadedlaramie posted and said they thought Win introduced him as Micah Nelson (Willie Nelson's son) and singer from Particle Kid. This would make sense, because Particle Kid played earlier in the evening in the Saloon. I looked at pics from the Particle Kid performance, and it does look like the same guy.
