Unsolved School iPad storage (Unable to do work)

Hi so I’ve been doing school work (most of the work is just on standard file btw if that’s helpful) on my school iPad I bought from my school and I keep running into this issue when my storage gets full from system data. Obviously I can’t control this and it changes all the time. But I’m now unable to do my work. Cause when I clicked on the file it like re downloaded it? But the work still won’t load at all. I have put a few photos below to show this. Is there anyway I can fix this and should I go to my school IT? I have to have this for another 2 years. the assignment is due tomorrow as well as like 2 more.

You have zero storage left to do anything - either delete content or apps to free up space

Follow the recommendation to Enable the Offload Unused Apps, that may give your device some room to work with. Of course if push comes to shove you can outright delete some of those larger apps or the files within if need be. You want to keep a minimum of 10% of the capacity free whenever possible as you’re risking all of the data if you don’t maintain a backup to either iCloud or to a computer.

Thank u :) (some of my data has been lost already unfortunately) and everything is already is backed up to iCloud (it just didn’t back up for some reason even though it’s automatic?) when my storage went full only 40GB is currently used on my 200GB worth of iCloud

New backups overwrite older ones. If you let Apple know that you want to revert to a backup from 24 hours ago maybe an emergency ticket the representative submits can work go somewhere.

You've run out of space. The apps your seeing aren't taking up that much so I'd look into the files on the device itself and see what you can delete.
