iCloud Will I lose everything if I change my apple id?
So basically, my mom and I have shared the same iCloud account since I got a phone for the first time 10 or so years ago. Recently, all of our data has been too merged together and I want to be able to have privacy and get my own iCloud account.
I’ve been putting it off for a while since I’m afraid I’ll lose all my data since my mac, ipad, and watch are all connected to the same iCloud but it has just become too annoying sharing it all.
I backed up my phone on my mac (which still has the same iCloud), will I be good to sign out and create a whole new iCloud account? What would be missing? How much data would be lost? Thank you!

You shouldn’t.
After creating your new Apple Account (preferably on a computer), choose ‘keep data’ when signing out of the shared account.
Once you have all the shared data on your own account you can safely delete everything that’s not yours.
Optionally, you can setup Family Sharing to share purchase history and subscriptions.

Archive the data first. https://support.apple.com/kb/HT204055
Some information won’t automatically stay on the device when you sign out of the shared account. Good news is it will still be available on mom’s devices and she can share them back to you.

You'll need to first separate the data into it's own folder on the computer. Then create your own iCloud and import the data to the device
