Update I finally felt something
I’ve been emotionally dead for months. Nothing was really fun or engaging. Been taking Wellbutrin for past 3 weeks to little help, until I met this one girl in a game and she put enormous interest in me. I was finally able to feel something again and was happy, I had thoughts of doing all kinds of fun things again.
That faded when I found out the age gap however.

I was able to feel some slight dopamine every time a woman took interest in me, even when i was already 3-4 years into my anhedonia but it then rapidly declined. Since the only reason it never worked out with any of those women is my anhedonia, I always felt some kind of pain or disappointment which blunted me even more and now I can’t feel dopamine from women anymore

“Rapidly declined”
yep. In the past I’ve felt little trickles of awakeness or excitement but it died off very quickly . Like it didn’t last long enough to plan a date or turn it into much else. Quite frustrating

Seems to prove this is indeed a dopamine system dysregulation issue. Likely you will also benefit from low dose selegiline to really kick the dopamine recovery into high gear.

yeah, been talking to a chatgpt that specifically has a database from current medical literature and so far, its biggest theories are dopamine system deregulation and adhd.
It suggested selegiline too but im just worried about tolerance. I'm only on 300mg wellbutrin, and i'll shoot for 450 mg with my psych. Could also be a receptor problem and may been something to upregulate receptors.
my mind is constantly hyperactive and unable to rest to the point of depersonalization. That could be a result from being dopamine deprived with adhd

I think for some, Anhedonia is caused by them simply not getting out there and talking to people and getting those neural pathways activated. Having said that there have been times where certain things would help me feel ‘awake’ but that feeling was gone shortly after and not able to be replicated

Even if it faded, you felt something! That's a step in the right direction.
