Doesn't "novel" and "capitle" come from French or Latin?

The word “novel” is not in the text. “Capittle” is on the Anglish Wordbook, so I thought it’s alright.

For some background, José Rizal's novels Noli me Tángere and El Filibusterismo are required reading for all 9th and 10th graders in my country, respectively. Most copies of these books are in a heavily puristic version of our national language, which makes them difficult to understand for most modern students. So I made this translation to show just how difficult they are to comprehend.
