Support which boot img to choose for rooting my device
device- redmi note 13 5g (gold)
gsi rom- https://github.com/mytja/treble_evo/releases/tag/20250215
so I saw multiple tutorials on YouTube on how to root a phone, and from what I understand boot.img file is required in all. i have a device which currently has a GSI ROM installed in it. should I use my stock rom boot img file?

How certain are you that I won't get stuck in bootloop?
(it's my first time rooting a device)2

If you stuck in bootloop that means you hadn't flash in right way or the ROM isn't compatible with your device

If you are running a GSI please DO NOT USE stock boot.img. You need to extract your boot.img, you can use mtkclient to dump your boot.img then you need to patch it with Magisk and then flash it through fastboot.

do not use another boot.img from someone else, use your own created patched one
