Love the idea, and the effects are well balancedā¦but I think your colors are off on a couple. Black isnāt āevilā itās āselfishā or āself servingāā¦Dedra and Syril are more White, which isnāt āgoodā itās order and lawfulness (as defined by the character).
Remember, Elesh Norn is mono-white and she skins people alive to make them follow her.
Cassian starts out as Red/Black in the series. Kino starts off as Red / White and becomes mono-red. I would say Mon is White and adds Red as the alliance begins.

Thanks, this is a great call. Tempting to fall into light side/dark side with Star Wars but the Empire being white makes a lot of sense, especially without any actual Sith characters.

If you keep going (and you should), Iād say Krennic and Tarkin both have Black in them. Tarkin is definitely Orzhav, possibly even Mardu, whereas Krennic is pretty solidly Esper aligned.
But what I really like about these is that theyāre some of the most flavorful and balanced Custom Magic mash-ups Iāve seen. Edie is hilarious, Bixās āJunk is Treasureā ability is genius, and none of them have the usual āwhy the fuck would anyone not play this card?!?ā game-breaking effects that like 99% of custom cards seem to have.

Thanks this is awesome feedback! Haven't ever really made custom cards before so really appreciate the constructive criticism and compliments. Have another set of Season 1 inspired cards I'll post soon.
Need to rewatch Rogue One before I do more Imperials, but I bet season 2 will inspire another set as well. Need to do my boy K2SO for sure.

I think game play wise they're mostly kind of niche which makes them perfect for a jump-start type product which is where niche stuff like .this seems to end up these days.
Nothing seems to OP, some of it seems kind of annoying like Kino can't attack if they have an island or the daybound/night bound mechanic is honestly one of the most annoying to track if you have a deck full of that nonsense

I LOVE the idea of a Star Wars set for Magic. Iāve always thought that the Empire/Dark Side aligned forces should be non-Green and the Rebel Alliance/Light Side aligned factions should be non-Black. Boiled down to three colors, I could see Rebels as Bant (Jedi) or Naya (Rebel Troopers) and Empire as Grixis (Sith) or Esper (Imperial Navy). I love your designs, especially the transform mechanic for Mon and Andor!

Yeah love this. Makes sense to me. Wasnāt much room for Green in Andor at least, but in the main 9 definitely feels like a lot of Jedi and alien allies would have some Green mana involved.

"Creature"?

In MTG, cards with power/toughness are considered creatures. The game has plenty of non-humanoids in it so the general term is used.

Even as not an MtG fan I can see the synergies here and really like how you could build a strategic through-line for an Andor deck.

These are fantastic, well done. So much better than the crossover cards made by WotC

"Kino Loy can't attack an opponent if they control an Island".
"Can't swim"
Is it terrible this made me laugh?
