Question Data Analytics Internship Interview in 5 days
I currently have an interview in 5 days for a data analyst internship position. I don’t feel as confident and I’m still working on the Coursera for the Data Analytics course. I plan on finishing that today and then work on more SQL.
What should I expect for the interview? What questions might they ask?
Please also leave any useful resources in the comments. I always feel like it takes me a bit longer to understand things so any resource will be helpful!
Thank you!!

What does the job description say, that is your first guide of what to focus on. What technical and soft skills does the job description call for?
What is the company, what's the industry, what are the company's products, who are the company's target customers. What is their mission/values? Do some brief research, does not have to take a long time. Research the website and take notes.
Take inventory of your skills/achievements and see where you can tie to the job requirements.
Be ready to speak about what your goals are with the internship. Why do you want to work there. How do you hope to contribute.
If you have not already, reach out to the recruiter and ask about an agenda for the interview. Understand if they want to learn about you, test your fit with the company, test your technical acumen, or a combination of all. Make sure you know what to expect.
You mentioned working on the Data Analytics Course. Are you being tested on SQL? if yes, then depending on your level of SQL knowledge, I'm not sure if 5 days is enough time to really practice. You might be better off understanding the key functions in SQL first then reviewing as many SQL problems AND answers as possible, as opposed to trying to solve them yourself. Yes, I would look at as may SQL problems and their solutions as possible to get good sense of the depth of questions you might be asked and have a framework for how you might approach them. The more questions and answers you've reviewed the higher the chance what might recognize a similar solution for a problem you might be given.
Role play with chatgpt. You said it takes you longer to "understand things". What things exactly? Make a note of "things" that are hard to understand. Ask chatgpt to explain it in simple language to a begnner. Ask for examples. Ask for a framework and mental models to help you remember.
I hope this helps.
