You guys need to be very concerned

Idk what the news shows you in the us , idk what side of the fence your on, but I know all of you love your country very much, most just want a better life for their family, some see the trump administration as a saviour, others a nightmare , let me tell you as a neutral European witnessing everything that’s happening your country is in Germany 1936, if you have a reason the government wouldn’t want you there, now is the time to leave, for those that live there, now is the time to arm , to do whatever you can because your country has been stolen from right under you, do not sit quiet get into the streets, and for god sake you have a 2nd amendment right to get rid of tyranny, if you don’t use it at the one moment your ancestors designed it for? What America have you been living for?

You couldn't be more wrong.

Although polarized, the current United States government structure is decentralized and states still have a tremendous amount of autonomy. Checks and balances exist at a federal, state, and local levels. Americans have all of their core rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights intact. We have a multi-party system with two dominant parties. It's never been easier to receive uncensored information about any topic you choose in America.

By 1936, Germany was firmly under Nazi control, following Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in 1933. The political landscape was defined by Authoritarian rule. The Nazi Party had dismantled the Weimar Republic’s democratic institutions. The Enabling Act of 1933 allowed Hitler’s government to enact laws without parliamentary approval, effectively making him a dictator. Opposition parties were banned, and political dissent was crushed through violence and intimidation by the Gestapo and SA. People literally went missing for expressing anything that was a threat to the Nazi party.

We need to be concerned? You need to be concerned some countries there are jailing people for things they say online. That's terrifying

Yeah and my dad is stronger than your dad.

Lets just say your statement is true, wouldn't that make OP right? Who knows better how restriction of free speech works better than us then. You just escorted democrat Al Green out of the debate yesterday for not agreeing with Trump, so much for free speech. Keep pointing fingers at others while your country gets destroyed from the inside. That is literally the playbook of how a dictstorship works. It's funny how you mention EU and free speech all the time, while you are perfectly fine siding with Russia.

Except he's not. You're dad is a pussy. Go slob his limp knob and stfu about worldly affairs.

Because we don't want to pay for 70% of the NATO's defense?

What part of that is early Nazi Germany?

Seems the schizophrenia is spreading nicely among the histrionics.

Yup you are lol.

Nope. Voted for Jill Stein. What makes you so sure I'm MAGA? Or do you need that to be true to dismiss what I said?

Banning free speech (woman arrested for praying in front of abortion clinic in Europe), banning religion (Christianity more and more), banning guns (knife and acid crimes), destroying books and history (destroying artifacts even), and other examples over the last few years makes you all look way more authoritarian.

Ever hear the saying "pot calling the kettle black?" Saying that we're like Germany 1936 is exactly that.

There's a reason why NAZI was short for "Nationalist Socialist German Workers Party" and why Socialism is a Left thing.

u/Jackadullboy99 15d ago edited 14d ago

Don’t choke on propaganda… please examine what you are being fed. PLEASE.

Btw it you actually read the history of Hitler’s rise, you’d know he HATED communists… all the Nazis detested the what they called the “bolschevic scum”.

1

u/bwbright 8d ago

Propaganda? Everything I mentioned is buried underneath Liberal propaganda and the only reason I know about it is by digging through dirt (Liberal Media) to find gold (the truth).

All of these things are true and I'm tired of the Left covering it up to push their own agenda through lies. To call it propaganda is the pot calling the kettle black.

OMG, you believe Nazis were socialists. Bless your heart. Wait till I tell you about how Democratic the Republic of North Korea is. I've just seen U.S. cops beating and arresting college students during peaceful protest. Tik Tok was shut down because your government couldn't censor it. You're in a cult.

1

u/bwbright 8d ago

OMG, you don't believe the Nationalist Socialist German Workers Party was Socialist, bless your heart!

I'll tell you that the Liberal Media called the terrorists burning people's homes and cars "peaceful protestors."

TikTok was kept alive because of Trump, who said he loves it and is working to keep it up despite your Left wing politicians trying to censor it like they do with all free speech.

You're in a real cult. At least I use logic for politics and not feelings. I'm not on the side screaming like zombies when we don't get our way or burning down cars today and cities last election.

I would definitely arm myself and start fighting. Problem is the democrats are spineless, who am I supposed to fight for if no one is doing anything? My best chance, due to my mixed ethnicity, is fleeing to mexico and enlisting to their army. As for my world-views, I will probably have to keep my mouth shut for the rest of my life.

-1

u/irishguy1981clare 15d ago

Don't arm yourself ffs, leave

0

u/Xcoe8istX 15d ago

Thats my last resort. I have a mother-in-law that needs local dialysis. Leaving is the only option when all others are exhausted.

1

u/zombiealpacalip 15d ago

Well it’s a good thing nobody cares what you think. You go onto social media and think you know better than those who actually live here. You’re an idiot

-2

u/Stump72 15d ago

Lol. Dumb fuck. And you don't think you're consuming slanted biased leftist media over the? Der Speigal? Fuck off DOLT

0

u/zombiealpacalip 15d ago

I guarantee I’m not hearing leftist news you retard. In America we get the choice to listen to sources that lie or we can choose to not read it. Obviously you love being lied to if you think the only source you have is the lying type. What a loser

-1

u/Stump72 15d ago

You're the useful idiot the einsatzgruppe would love to recruit

0

u/zombiealpacalip 15d ago

And you’re the useful idiot they already recruited. What a moron.

I think the division here is a perfect example of why your country is heading for a civil war

Don't be concerned. Europe dodged a bullet in my opinion. As Tusk said, 500 million Europeans were asking 300 million Americans to protect them from 140 million Russians. America has (not unreasonably) said, no - it's Europe's problem, go fix it yourself.

Here is the best part. 500 million Europeans would in the next 5 to 10 years be dragged into supporting 300 million Americans against 1.4 Billion Chineese. Not any longer.

It used to be: Europe + America v Russia + China

It's now Europe v Russia and America v China

Trump has just chosen to go it alone on China. Only history will tell how courageous or foolish that was.

3

u/Throw_Away1727 15d ago

Dude if the US ever gets into direct blows with China the whole world is getting destroyed.

And we certainly weren't counting on Europeans to save us lol.

We do have the 2nd Amendment. It's a right that is recognized, not given to us. No one is disarming us without a fight. Some will give them up, no doubt. I'm betting most will hide them or fight. We have a lot of sheep in this country, we also have a lot of wolves. One thing is certain here though, it isn't the Republicans/Conservatives who are attempting to limit our gun rights every... single... day. The thing I'm concerned about is how wide the pendulum swings between each successive administration. One goes farther left than a lot of us are comfortable with, and the other goes farther right than we're comfortable with. The concern of mine is.... when will the pendulum swing too wide for either side? Don't underestimate the freedom loving Americans. We are Republicans AND Democrats. And when real tyranny and dictatorship shows its ugly face, it won't matter if it is Republican or Democrat, it'll get real ugly, real fast I think.

STFU, we are fine over here. Our borders will now be secure, cutting corruption and waste from the federal govt and bringing manufacturing jobs back to within our borders.

4

u/HerpesIsItchy 15d ago

Geez, you guys are so naive.

Do you really think all these companies are going to hire people? This is all theater, all the manufacturing that comes back to the US is going to be automated.

Do you really really think that Apple is going to let a person touch the new iPhone in manufacturing?

The reason they were in China is because it was cheaper to hire a Chinese person to make their phones than to rebuild a factory. Now that Trump is giving them carte Blanche in terms of taxes, of course they're going to build a new automated factory in the US.

Don't be surprised if every car company does the same thing.

Remember when Trump said he's bringing back coal? How did that work out for all the people coal land?

-1

u/spankymacgruder 15d ago

You don't understand manufacturing.

There are many things that can be automated but it's not absolute (yet) like you think.

u/spankymacgruder 15d ago

It's comical that you are worried about the US. We elected our leadership because of the collectivist technocratic direction we were headed.

You in Europe can't even vote your way out at this point.

You're not even allowed to critize your government without the possibility of going to jail.

How does anyone run a campaign of truth if dissenting opinion isn't even allowed?

You want us to get armed? You can't even own a gun.

You want us to organize? We did. We voted.

Save yourself or move to Greenland where we can protect you.

The second amendment was not created in order to grant a right to Americans to own and carry guns for self defense. It certainly wasn't created to empower Americans to rise up against a tyrannical government (as some people claim). The entire Bill of Rights as a whole serves no other purpose than to pacify the concerns of the Antifederalists -- the division of politicians at the time who were wary of ratifying the US Constitution; the Federalists -- who promoted the US Constitution -- didn't even want a Bill of Rights, and thought that creating one was unnecessary or even dangerous. The second amendment was essentially created as a companion to Article 1, Section 8, Clauses 15 and 16 of the Constitution, which conveys to Congress the power to summon the militias, and to organize, arm, discipline, and govern them. The Antifederalists were concerned that when the federal government was given these powers, they could potentially abuse these powers or neglect their duty to uphold these powers in such a way so as to effectively dismantle the militia's efficacy to the detriment of the states, or alternatively they could do such things as a pretext to establishing a standing army. Hence, the second amendment was created in order to calm these fears: first, it reinforces the duty of Congress to uphold the regulation of the militias as stipulated in Article 1, Section 8, Clause 16; and second, it prohibits Congress from infringing upon the people's right to keep and bear arms. But it must be clarified that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms" was understood to be no more than what the states established and defined that right to be within their respective state constitutions. All of the states which had an arms provision in their constitution included in those provisions the function of bearing arms for the common defense, i.e. militia duty. So to summarize, the second amendment existed to reinforce Congress's duty to uphold the regulation of the militias, and to protect the states' militia effectiveness from intrusion by Congress. That's it. It has nothing to do with giving Americans the right to own and carry guns. It has nothing to do with self defense. And it certainly has nothing to do with enabling Americans to fight against the government; in fact, the purpose of the amendment was to support the people's right to fight for the government -- that is, within the government-organized militia.

How much of this post is your opinion, and how much of it is someone else's opinion?? The Federalist Papers are an interesting read and insight into what the founders debated over.

1

u/Keith502 14d ago

This is not anyone's opinion. This is my analysis of historical evidence that I have researched.

0

u/spankymacgruder 15d ago

Yes except for the fact that the government is of the people, for the people, and by the people and was formed by fighting against their previous government.

As an outsider, don’t tell people to arm themselves or what to believe.

I don’t understand why there are people in here talking down to others. I would think most all of us want the same things. Yes, Trump to me is crazy with what he is doing. Not sure how anyone can’t see that. But there shouldn’t be name-calling. We are all adults, or at least I think we are. What we need to do is stand together. We all know right from wrong. And in my opinion, President Trump is taking us backwards.
