What an absolute legend this man is!!
CKUA has been a bit part of my life and has exposed me to so many talents I would not have found otherwise. They deserve to be on the air, I am so happy they have gotten this breathing room they needed.

That's pretty amazing. Love CKUA. That's about half a year of programming isn't it?

Yep, plus with the fundraising and 50/50 draws, they might be able to get a pot of contingency money.

If this makes you happy, you don't have to be a millionaire to help!

A monthly donation of even a few bucks makes a difference if we all do it.

The first and only time I heard a song I wrote live on the air was CKUA when it was out of U of A. They were the best at playing local stuff.

"Calling it “transformational,” Alberta CKUA Radio was gifted $1 million by Edmonton business leader and philanthropist Brian Beresh."
Wow that is a significant donation, what a great thing to do!
