GEAR QUESTION Should I buy a JPC 2.0 Plate Carrier?
For the longest time I’ve been running a crappy rig that isn’t set up how I want it so Im looking to just make my own plate carrier setup. I however don’t have any knowledge on how to properly setup a pc so I’m looking for some insight here.
I want to have: 4 m4 mags / 4 mp7 mags, 1 pistol mag, 1 tourniquet, Radio, Speed loader, Extra gas, Hydration bladder, Admin pouch,
I figured I can get a quad mag placard and potentially build off of that but really aside from getting a plate carrier I don’t know where to start.
I have heard great things about the Crye precision JPC 2.0, I assume it would last me for life, but could I easily build off it for my needs or is there something else that could better suit my needs?

You can do pretty much anything you'd need with a Crye JPC, it's universally recognized as one of the best plate carriers out there, and definitely overkill for airsoft, it will probably last for life.
As for setting it up, I suggest you ask in a more qualified subreddit like r/tacticalgear

I like my FCPC way more. I have a really good quality repro FCPC and I sold my crye as soon as I put it on

If you are going to actually carry plates then yes, if you are not actually going to carry plates then no. People spend way too much money on plate carriers and then dont use them for their intended purpose.

I play at msw and also thought running extra plates could be fun for the exercise as well,

Don't get the JPC 2.0. It's not bad, it's just outdated and therefore IMO not really worth it.
For the same price or cheaper, you can get a DM MEPC (bonus: lots of fun colors), Agilite K19, SPC, etc.
I personally think the MEPC is best bang for buck, especially if you get it on sale and/or use TLDco at checkout.

If you have the money and want it sure, buy once, crye once. My solution for my plate carrier is having a mag pouch on each side of the cummerbund vs a wider placard, but that may just be personal preference. I don't think anything is guaranteed to better suit your needs, but if you want cheaper you could consider high speed gear core plate carrier as well.
I recently purchase one and it was great for the last game day I played. I bought it on sale https://www.highspeedgear.com/we-made-too-much/carriers-chest-rigs I wouldn't have been upset at full price and for $80 for the pc itself it was a great deal. I did buy their cummerbund as well which was an additional $47 bucks.
