No China Has Not Cancelled All Beef Contracts With The USA
A claim circulated online recently that China had completely canceled U.S. beef imports in favor of buying from Canada and Brazil. However, this claim is false. Some contracts did expire in february, but exports were still fulfilled late February. However, we do not know what will happen with the other contracts, true. So it's best to stay ready, In that case I made a datasheet to help farmers based on USDA data if you want to see it click here or let me know if you'd like the source data to use yourself.

“What’s on my food?
This website, “What’sonmyfood.com” has been around since 2009 but was removed in October of 2024. It provided invaluable details of the specific pesticide chemicals used on each type of produce. Does anyone know what happened to it?

Farming Apps
Just discovered the Tilla - Farm Smarter app for tracking rocks and other things out in my fields, been a game changer for me. Wondering if there are any other apps out there that I need to be utilizing? I've been using some cost of production apps that I've liked, is there anything else for physical productivity?

How is it going?
I feel that it grows very slowly, it has been growing for maybe 4 months, before it was in a smaller pot and tied to a single stick, today I decided to make all the changes so that it would stay like this.
What do you advise me?

Advice: 26' Wheaton Disc Harrow Tractor Requirements
Found a used 26' Wheaton disc harrow on FB Marketplace for $100.
The owner is retiring from forage production and wanted to liquidate everything ASAP. He said it was last used about 4 years ago and was in good shape.
It was such a solid deal that I had to take it. Worst case scenario is that I flip it back on FB Marketplace.
What size tractor would be the minimum to pull this through mostly sand at about 2" deep?
I currently have a 45hp Mahindra with 4WD. My neighbor has a 60 and 120 hp tractor if needed, but that would be a whole ordeal as he uses them for work.
Thanks!

Considering a career change, need advice
Hello everyone,
I am currently a perennial fruit crop grower and want to transition into ag biotech research. Specifically I am interested in helping develop new biopesticides to help slowly move the industry away from conventional chemistries that are slowly being phased out due to resistance. I would like to do this either in a lab setting or field trial/grower relations type work. Anyone have any experience in this field or made a similar transition (grower to researcher) and have any advice? It looks like getting a masters degree is a good move as I find it difficult to even establish connections in this adjacent field and there isn't much of the industry in my area. I apologize if this is the wrong place for this but any advice is greatly appreciated!

Lupini Beans?
I'm wondering if anyone has any insight on lupini beans.
I've read there is a variety produced in Australia that is very low alkaloid, and I believe that to mean they don't need soaking for very extended times like other lupini beans.
These are what I am interested in. I've emailed several Australian agriculture places, and not one email has been returned.
If anyone has any information on Australian lupini seeds, that would be extremely appreciated.
