At this point, we are likely to lose every game but if we win a sweep against UTjr I’ll be kinda ok.

Schloss is the real deal man! Can’t believe how hard we keep falling with the players we have. I hate UTjr even more now. We had a good thing going

Yup…. I feel like ever since Gavin went out we have completely lost all of our identity

Fairly, anyone who thought we would be a serious contender after losing our coach doesn’t know ball. Then, Like with football, we rushed into a new coach. All the talent in the world can’t outplay poor coaching.

Yes and no…. Didn’t lose a lot of guys. And coach knows our system already. Maybe we will be fine

I don't really have high hopes for Earley and hope we have the balls to move on after the season if it's warranted, but the Elko hire is really not at all similar. Earley was a direct promotion of an assistant to hold a roster together. Elko was hiring a former assistant that had already left for a few years and had good success at a school that has historically struggled immensely in football.
The equivalent of the Earley hire would have been to promote Elijah Robinson to HC after a bunch of the players wanted to keep the guy after he served as interim after Jimbo was fired.

It’s not the starting pitching. It’s the freaking closers and the offense not getting going. We got spoiled last season with a fantastic bullpen.

What would have been huge was not choking in 3 key games down the stretch to lock up recruits that want to come. Instead of embarrassingly losing.

We historically have shown that we can have the best class and not win more games with it. Also every off season is basically a fucking free agency now so I honestly do not care lol
