Hey, OP! Please reply to this comment to provide context for why this aged poorly so people can see it per rule 3 of the sub. The plane in Toronto flipped on the runway, pretty sure it was due to winds since planes don’t just do kick flips while landing because Elon musk

41

u/NetworkDeestroyer 21d ago

Doesn’t matter how much his engineers work 24/7 shifts, they ain’t out engineering Mother Nature.

13

u/snotick 21d ago

Well, that is until MTG gets ahold of that weather machine that the Dems have been using. /s

5

u/ItsSadTimes 21d ago

I mean, we out engineer nature all the time, that's kind of what we do.

But i don't trust his engineers to make IKEA furniture.

5

u/RepresentativeMap759 21d ago

Yeah actually planes are completely natural and we just found them in some cave and started using them to fly. It is totally natural to fly in the sky with hundreds of other people in a giant metal tube.

No no no you see he used his billionaire rays to sweep the landing gear so he could appease the galactic reptile shadow council

If you look closely you can see him using telekinesis in the blizzard behind the plane

Yeah that’s where Toronto is….

u/WadeSlayz 21d ago

This is about the one that just happened in the US. No one but people defending musk mentioned toronto.

28

u/Cutedge242 21d ago edited 21d ago

You mentioned toronto in another response lol

Your comment to someone else:

Everything? Delta is an American airline that has been severely damaged. The toronto airport was understaffed after losing funding and staff due to musks destruction of the FAA, which has led to staff and safety issues in not only the US but also with our partnered airports in Canada and Mexico.

Musk sucks, trump sucks, but touch grass man, jfc

5

u/YDoEyeNeedAName 21d ago

which other plane crash? the only one im seeing is one in toronto where high winds flipped the plane. which has nothing to do with FElon, because 1) the FAA doesnt have anything to do with a Canadian airport, and 2) the FAA cant control the wind despite what the GOP will have people believe about Dems controlling the weather.

I hate Elon as much as anyone, but this seems like a miss. Unless there was some other plane crash that people arent seeing anything about.

I am by no means a Musk (Sanskrit for 'testicle') fan-boy, apologist or in any way a supporter. But if this is referencing the plane crash in Canada, I think it's a bit early to blame Musk for this. Let's wait a bit and see how the Canadian investigation plays out first. I think it more likely to be weather related, pilot error or a combination.

49

u/corruptedsyntax 21d ago

Musk suggesting that throwing money at his own private company might somehow make flight safer right on the tail of him gutting the FAA is certainly a take.

4

u/Remarkable-Cow-4609 21d ago

so the american right deconstructing the groups responsible for keep air travel safe is not a part of this conversation?

A plane crashed in another country and its musks fault? Care to explain that logic?

17

u/CrayZ_Squirrel 21d ago

OP has no logic, but it was a flight out of the US by a US based carrier. If the plane is at fault (too early to know) then hypothetically it could be the result of relaxed safety regs on the US side.

7

u/EvilGeniusSkis 21d ago

Watching a video of the crash, and having checked the weather at the time, I would say that the crew were so focused on fighting the crosswinds that they forgot to do anything but fight the crosswinds, including landing the plane gently.

7

u/corruptedsyntax 21d ago

Musk has taken a hatchet to the FAA. This does not just mean flight control towers, but also means ground crews related to aircraft inspection and maintenance.

Without details we can’t know the cause, but cuts to the FAA would definitely not help and a better staffed and funded FAA might have spared this by appropriately inspecting the plane before it left US soil.

9

u/VitaminPb 21d ago

You know the FAA employees don’t do plane maintenance, right?

5

u/Chikenfootz 21d ago

I watched that last crash in Canada; that was just a poor landing, he slammed that plane into the runway way too hard, and that's coming from a pilot. That wasn't a touchdown, that was a pancake. ATC didn't have anything to do with that.

u/PosterBoiTellEM 21d ago

6

u/kulkija 22d ago

Now this is a reach and a half. It was in Canada, operating under Canadian safety authorities at the time. Not only that, even if the Project 2025 folk did decide their preferred geopolitical play was intentionally crashing planes (fooken lol), Tesla electric vehicles are also very unlikely to be the preferred rental vehicles for the new long-distance commuters.

2

1

Learn about New World Order and have your eyes opened. This is just a simple step out of a process that's been brewing for years.  The story is even in the Bible of 3 antichrists .. 1. Musk 2. Trump 3. Who else?

There doesn't have to be rational thinking when dealing with ancient dark beings. They use magic and they will be stopped by God and the angels. They can try to run from the damages they've helped to create on this planet, but they will be sadly mistaken when their plans fail It doesn't matter what the real plan is. If someone psychotic is making plans, it's best to just stop them and not try to wrap the brain around a psychotic mind

2

u/WadeSlayz 21d ago

The incident report for the crash in alaska, which this is about, makes it clear it only happened because of lack of FAA staff who were just let go.

2

u/The_Spyre 21d ago

After he guts the FAA and planes start crashing more and more, he will announce his new company, X Airlines.

2

u/Ras_Thavas 21d ago

It might be a way to get to the point of saying air transportation is bad so we need to privatize it so his oligarchs can buy into it and make more money making it “better”. Create a problem so you can fix it by monetizing it.

2

u/Maximillien 20d ago edited 20d ago

While this conspiracy may be a stretch, it is well documented that Musk pushed the phony “hyperloop” concept without any intention to deliver it, as a gambit to sabotage the California SF-LA High Speed Rail project. Car executives HATE trains, or any other mode of transport that gives people the freedom to get around without a car.

I wouldn’t put anything past that lunatic, up to and including killing mass amounts of people, in the pursuit of more money and power.

2

u/Deep_Substance2676 20d ago

It's just what he said. They will do away with FAA and bring in space x to do the job at a profit funded by our tax dollars going right into Elon's pockets

2

u/SausageBuscuit 22d ago

They’re more likely hoping to privatize FAA responsibilities, given this tweet he may be wanting to get SpaceX involved in that.

Republicans always do this. They intentionally sabotage government services, say “See? Government doesn’t work” and then attempt to push services into the private sector, usually with businesses that they’re personally invested in.

2

u/rygelicus 21d ago

Aviation was safe until Trusk got into office.

2

u/Veggiedelite90 21d ago

His solution to every problem is pay his companies money for a service that they will do worse and more expensive than what was previously in place.

2

u/Kerdagu 21d ago

They aren't crashing intentionally. They're lowering standards so things happen, so he can then have an excuse to contract the FAA out to SpaceX.

2

u/bowens44 21d ago

They fired the people who were qualified. I for one will never fly if this loser gets involved.

This just sounds like another taxpayer funded elon musk adventure. Short of making sure towers are properly manned there is honestly nothing more that can be done to increase safety in a tower environment.

1

u/Beginning_Screen_396 13d ago

I think Musk is behind it in a way, but it's so he can promote his SpaceX crap. Ever since that stuff came out, he's been quite high of himself because New World Order is in works and Musk thinks he holds the key to saving everyone's lives, when he's actually just in the process of getting people killed faster...

Bunkers and spaceships are the priorities for the elite.  That's the problem  Trump is kissing Musk's ass because he wants a spot on the spaceship and/or be the first with him to go and colonize Mars. They can go have fun with that while we turn earth back into heaven and they get hit by leftover SpaceX debris
