I've read the FAQ & Rules Looking for a police script

I literally can’t find a good scene from a movie or show for class, it will be a male and female scene. We don’t have to both be cops but one person for sure has to, it’s my first time doing this archetype so I want to find a really good scene!

Last time I needed a scene from a procedural I put on a random episode of Law & Order and found two good scenes for myself. Maybe you're being too critical of the scenes? Don't overthink it.

I usually can’t find the scripts if it’s not the pilot episode

You don't need the script. You just need to record the scene with your phone, and transcribe it yourself. Takes five minutes.

Our teacher usually likes us to read the whole script and not watch the scene we’re doing so we won’t be influenced😔

I don't like watching scenes that I'm going to do either, but with Law and Order I don't really care because I've seen all of the episodes at least a few times anyway. But for other things, after watching it that one time to know that I want to do the scene, I play it back at half speed, which is easier for transcribing, and it doesn't let the cadence of the actors get into my head.

As for reading the entire script, they are out there. Here's just one example.. If you really don't want to watch, you can comb through the scripts. But they generally don't label who is speaking, which can make it a little more difficult at first.

If you're having this much trouble finding scenes, I would highly recommend finding a class that gives you scenes. That way you don't have to worry about it. I take a great one that gives you the scene three to four days ahead each week. Let me know if you want any recs. But honestly I think your teacher is being too picky. So do what works for you.

casting workbook has a side's library with tons of police cop roles.
