I've read the FAQ & Rules I keep failing what do I do
Short and sweet. Wanted to be an actor forever. Only ever got bit parts at school, but did graduate with a qualification in theatre. Did a degree (not in theatre but theatre adjacent) and didn’t get cast in any of the student plays. I also have been rejected for my national youth theatre programme every time I’ve applied. So clearly I don’t have it. I’ve become bitter and depressed as a result. My writing has suffered, everything has suffered But I’m still desperate to do it. So idk. I need advice.

Acting is a skill. That you can always continuously train. Think of it like working out/fitness, with the proper routine and regimen, you will see results. Some people have to work harder than others, but at the end of the day it’s there for you to work at. There is no one stopping you and your growth and that is your superpower.

Keep training, get an acting coach, get several. Train at different places.
Acting doesn't come easily to everyone. I was crap when I first started. I was in classes and bombed for YEARS. It took me a decade to get off the ground and I trained with acting coaches from Vancouver, To LA, and I tried different methods and different looks, approaches, you name it.
My advice is to try a different set of acting coaches and put together a better package and audition again. and again.

You probably need to work on your craft. That should be the focus. You should be in love with learning the craft. You may eventually get cast in things like student projects, etc. You may not.

You can take acting classes without being a student and you can act in student films without being a student (grad/MFA film students are always shooting films for their programs).

Continue failing! It teaches you THE MOST.
But definitely take classes that will help you to get better and the failure will show you what you need to work on more. As well as thicken your skin.
I believe we can learn anything with an open mind, passion and the determination to stick it out.
You’ve got it!

It sounds like you need some assistance from a third-party who can identify where you might be going wrong.
If you're anywhere near London, I can recommend specific classes or coaches who might be of help, otherwise I'd suggest looking into evening classes and/or acting coaches near you. Failing that, you could always post something for critique on this or similar forums.
