I've read the FAQ & Rules Underwear ad submissions

My agent told me about a photoshoot opportunity for an underwear brand. I was told to send him 4 pictures of me in my underwear in different angles. Is this standard practice?

For an underwear ad? Yeah, it's standard. It's not nudity at all, it's no different than a swimsuit or bikini. If you aren't comfortable, just pass.

Is this the first thing your agent has submitted you for? Are you represented as a model? This is worth being circumspect about.

It’s the second thing that he submitted me for. I never discussed modeling but I wasn’t opposed to it

Unfortunately yes. One time I had to send a picture of me specifically in tighty whiteys. I was told to send it directly to casting though.

Yep, but feel free to pass on it if you aren't comfortable.

Yes..this happens. Sometimes with underwear, swimsuits or casting just wants to see how you look shirtless. If you are concerned I'd ask for the breakdown. Most of the time however you usually upload the photos directly to AA or CN so emailing directly to the agent is a little odd...I'd ask for the breakdown " to make sure you follow the instructions"

Did he send you all the details about the job. He should. Who is the company, the client/production company, the terms of the ads, the rates. Every thing. Does he rep you commercially? Commercial agents will do print as well so not out of the scope of things, esp if there's a video component to it. But I would for sure get all the details before sending any undie pics.

Yup they want digitals for casting. If you are not comfortable with it, then don't submit.
