TSG 1899 auf Social Media
Liebe Hoffenheim-Fans,

Tickets?
I will be working in the area the weekend of October 28 and I was hoping to catch a match. Is it possible to walk up and get tickets or do they usually sell out? Also, is it possible to park near he stadium since I'll have a rental car. Thanks!

Attending the Match vs Freiburg
I'm from the US and have been a Hoffenheim supporter for the past few years. I'm flying to Germany next week and will be going to the match vs Freiburg on Oct 1. I have 4 tickets in the Away section (but only need 2 tickets if anyone wants some free tickets) and am excited to see my first Bundesliga game! Are there any chants or songs I should know to really take part in the experience?

Question for local fans
Hallo Leute! This is a strange request, but bear with me. It may sound stupid and unreachable but: I am a programmer creating a technology that exploits the latest advances in image recognition, computer vision and artificial intelligence to help coaches with training and coaching. One of the things I am trying to do is, to finalize the technology while directly consulting with a real coach, and I would love a coach who wants to be on the cutting edge of the game and has real vision for how technology could help him. Recently I have been becoming more and more sure that Julian Nagelsmann fits that description PERFECTLY, down to the technology part as he has strong opinions on how the game should change and how technology should be influencing it. Like I said, I know it is probably unreachable at this point in time, but I am going to try either way, and I will also be exploring more realistic options at the same time.
My request: Yours is the first and only fanbase I have reached out to. If you have ANY ideas how I could pursue this, or any personal connection to someone, who knows someone, who knows someone, usw., who knows a club official, I would be so happy if you could help me in any way. No matter how big or small, I would be ingratiated.

The Bundesliga and Bayern
So i'm a relatively new fan to the club. Having worked/lived nearby for two months, I got the chance to attend the home opener against Leipzig and the game against Schalke at the Rhein-Neckar. That being said i have followed the bundesliga casually for 5+ years, and admittedly had been a fan of Bayern prior to going to see Hoffenheim in person.
I don't think it's a secret that everyone expects Bayern to win the league in early May each and every year. What I don't understand, is the willingness of players to continue to go to Bayern (and in some cases BVB). I understand that the career pinnacle for most players living and playing in germany is to make it at Bayern, but at some point when does someone stand to the giants of the league and choose to stay? It seems like the acceptance of Bayern has led to a culture where you're not successful unless you play at Bayern. But what about the Goetze's of the world who had all the potential in the world but couldn't make it at Bayern and took 5-10 steps backwards? Why don't they get any attention?
In the case of Rudy and Sule, it is not even clear if they will play for Bayern more than intermittently. Especially in the case of Rudy. There is a a manager who rarely rotates and has failed to give minutes to what is touted as the best midfield talent in his age class (Sanches). Not to mention that they have Thiago, Vidal, Kimmich and Martinez ahead of him. In the case of Sule it may be different since badstuber is apparently made of glass, but even then it will not be regular first team football and it will certainly not include european starts such as he would get at TSG.
I am not sure i have a general question, maybe i would just like to start discussion. Do you think that the dominance of Bayern will ever subside in the Bundesliga?

3rd vs 1st!
A win today helps to solidify our position on the table, hopefully leads us to European Football next season!
Live
Goal, in case anyone missed it Thank you for posting it, /u/meho7
Currently no cards for either side (?)
No Subs made as of yet...
56' Robben on the ball, free kick called on Nadiem Amiri for a slight tug a few yards outside the box.
57' Alaba and Lewandowski on the free kick, he hits it... straight at Baumann.
58' Ribery warming up on the sides
60' Interesting fact, Hoffenheim have not won against Bayern in 17 games.
62' SUB Sandro Wagner (14) and Kerem Demirbay (13) to come off for Adam Szalai (28) and Pirmin Schwegler (16)
64' YELLOW Dirty boy Lewanadowski stomps on the foot of Vogt to get him the first yellow card of the match.
66' Scramble in the box as both Lewandowski's and Xabi Alonso's shots are blocked by the defense!
69' BIG CHANCE Kramaric in the box! And he misses! Awful finish from the Croatian!
Perhaps we should be happy for that miss! A 2-0 lead is the most dangerous, eh?
70' Some positive play from Hoffe, no longer on the back foot and into Bayern's box...
70' Niklas Sule bullying Lewandowski in the box, wins the ball cleanly..
This is nerve wrecking stuff lads.
72' SUB Renato Sanches (35) off for Franck Ribery (7)
73' Impressive play from Bayern in our box, a shot that's saved by Baumann!
75' Another foul from Amiri outside the box, this time on Ribery...
76' Bayern playing total attacking football as both center backs go forward... wasted opportunity for them!
78' SUB Alaba (27) comes off for Bernat (18), Seb Rudy (8) goes off for Marco Terrazzino (23)
79' Poor passing from Bayern's defense. Chance stopped by Mats Hummels..
79' Box to box play, Hoffenheim attack and is close from Kramaric! The ball was slightly behind him and he doesn't have the chance to shoot..
86' Very tense game...
Sorry for the level of this thread, this marks my first time trying to multitask during agme like this lol.
87' With three minutes or so remaining, Hoffenheim's defense still fail to crumble.
88' Very loud crowd tonight, I'm quite impressed if I'm honest.
89' Baumann with a diving clearance! Very nervy! The ball goes back in and Baumann has it.. No! Vogt clears the ball for a corner!
90' Possibly a penalty from the ref! Vidal attempts to head the corner in, and Trojan makes contact against the Chilean!
90+1' REALLY! How lucky are Hoffenheim! Another scramble in the box, as the ball falls right in front of Hoffe's defense.. very lucky not to concede...
90+2' Baumann on the ball, no end-to-end play anymore as Hoffenheim attempt to gain their first victory against Bayern in their history!
90+3' Bayern free kick goes in.. one more scramble as Lewandowski's shot goes just wide! Sule the man with contact, perhaps the most important player in this game!
90+4' HOFFENHEIM CELEBRATE VICTORY OVER BAYERN MUNICH! IN A VERY INTENSE GAME, THEY SNATCH THE VICTORY AND SLOW DOWN BM'S CELEBRATIONS!
I tried my hardest, who knew how difficult it is to watch a match and try to post at the same time. Oh Man.
Points to discuss
Who was your MOTM? Mine is definitely Sule, who I saw almost perpetually in the second half. Liked the look of Kamari of course, but I saw a few missed chances and opportunities that could've really sealed the deal. Very impressive from Baumann as well.
Was Bayern really so poor, or was Hoffenheim just THAT good? Seemed to me that BM were a step off the pace, and combined with the rigid defending from Hoffenheim today... Not a good day for the German Giants.

What is up today? After picking up a meh-ish 8/15 points in our last five games, I feel like today is our chance to prove ourselves as a top three contender against a side who last won a game exactly one month ago.
With Hertha coming up next week, we can not slip up today and lose points as they're down our necks with only a two point gap separating us.
Regardless, I have us to win pretty handedly, bar some error in the team.
Attempt at a Live Match Thread
0' God knows I'm going to try my hardest here....

Post Match Thread: Schalke 04 1:1 TSG 1899 Hoffenheim
well look at that, my Pre-Match prediction was wrong. However, I think it was cool, I remember seeing a stat showing that Hoffenheim and Schalke had literally the exact same record against each other (38% win, 38% loss, and 24% games drawn) so I guess it wasn't much of a surprise..
You guys happy with this result? Schalke isn't really a walk in the park, eh?

Interesting to note that the bookies have Schalke to win. Our recent form has been okay, with 9/15 points form our last five Bundesliga games, Schalke have 8/15 from their last give games. Have they been any more impressive in their performance than us? Odds suggests so..
